Marlin House 52 at Indigo Reef — Hotel in Marathon

Amazing well-kept property with beautiful views and boat access. Condo has washer and dryer which is super helpful for kids. Beds were very comfortable! Sunsets from this property were the best I’ve ever seen. Awesome property owners who are quick to respond to questions. These owners truly care about your experience! Everything was labeled and tidy, clean! Amazing boat slip with access that looks easy to navigate even when the tide is out. We didn’t rent a boat but highly recommend “Captain Hooks Marina and Dive Center” right across the highway about 5 minutes away. We used them for a snorkeling charter, and they were very professional/knowledgeable to the area. Took our family of 5 down here in late August for one week. Was peaceful with most people going back to school. Even though it was hot, we stayed cool by the facility pool and visited local beaches. Sombrero beach was a 10-minute drive and a public gem. We spent a day in Bahia Honda State Park which is also highly recommended with amazing beaches/hiking. Spent a day in Big Pine Key sightseeing which included hiking trails, Key Deer and even an Alligator! Took a day trip down to Key West enjoying every mile of bridge and scenery. Key West was about a 1-hour drive but definitely worth the adventure. Many local restaurants near this property with our favorite being Sparky’s Landing. There is Walgreens right outside the property and Publix 10-minutes down the road. We will be back for sure! Next time we will be...

The owners of the Marlin House 52 have updated this unit with fun modern beach decor. They have gone above and beyond .. meeting every single need for an enjoyable vacation! Our party of 6 made a number of meals, kitchen highly stocked with everything you can think of, pots-pans-dishes-silverware-etc.margarita maker, Keurig & traditional coffee maker, etc! Extras included insulated mugs for the pool, beach towels, coolers, beach bags, board games. The beds super comfortable! We truly enjoyed coffee on the deck with beautiful views. The pool was a perfect temperature. The complex was very secure & we'll taken of. My only complaint was I couldn't stay longer! You are in the heart of everything. Restaurants, beaches (Sombrero highly recommended), shopping, grocery stores, liquor stores (Walgreens liquor .. yes Walgreens is only a few blocks away). Anyone considering the Marlin House will not be disappointed! 2021 Girls Trip...

Marlin House #52 is a beautiful condo, completely updated with fun and stylish beach decor. Everything you could want on your relaxing beach vacation. The entire home was very clean and fully stocked with what we needed. They even had fun kitchen appliances to make ice cream and margaritas. We also had the use of coolers and beach towels, which was certainly an added bonus. On our vacation we rented a boat. It was so handy to have dock access right outside our door and the pool was a very short walk from the condo as well. This location is far enough off the main road that it is peaceful and quiet, but close enough to be able to quickly run an errand, or enjoy one of Marathon's cute Tiki bars, fun shops or restaurants. The owners provided a lot of great tips and sights to see ahead of time, and were very responsive with questions throughout the vacation. We will certainly be coming...
