Below was my original review. However after I cooled down I went back in to talk with a manager to try and gain some bearing on what just happened. The lady I asked ended up being the owner who was actually incredibly understanding and polite. She actually was the one fixing the coffee leak during the episode but didn’t really understand what was going on. She explained it was like “a perfect storm” bad timing during some backstage chaos and an employee who is a germaphobe. Super super nice and I can now see why this place is a local favorite. She asked me to come back tomorrow and try again and we will try to do so. Thank you Cindy or Cynthia I appreciate your stepping up to explain the situation to me.
Yikes...... is all that comes to mind. Never met such a rude group of people in my life. My mind is blown. 🤯. My daughter and I came here for breakfast and after we had been there for about five minutes looking over the menu and finished placing our order it came to my request for what they had for coffee and the lady pointed behind me to the coffee stand. When looking at it I noticed it had sprung a bad leak was going all over the floor. I pointed it out to her as well as to a gentleman that came from behind the kitchen. Then the lady that was taking my order (who was pleasant) told another lady who seemed to be some sort of management who looked at me and then rudely barked at me saying very aggressively and loudly “You can’t be in there without a mask on or you going to have to leave!” 😳. Wow! I realized I had forgotten to mask. Oops. My bad. Usually a normal human being in a customer service establishment would have said, “ excuse me sir, but do you by chance have a mask on you that you could put on for us? We get in trouble if people don’t wear one.” Not this crazy lady. I put on my mask and quickly addressed her rudeness and poor demeanor as politely as I could. She showed zero remorse. Didn’t even realize why she was called over in the first place, which was because I was trying to help them and inform them of the coffee spilling over. We canceled our order and left. Definitely will not be coming back. Shameful behavior. Even the poor girl that was taking our order was super embarrassed and looked more apologetic. She knew my daughter and I were being kind and polite. I can’t fathom what would make someone be so aggressively rude and go unchecked. Absolutely shameful. I immediately apologized for forgetting my mask. She apologized...
Read moreThe absolutely rudest most unprofessional people I’ve ever encountered!!! They act so annoyed to explain their menu and to serve customers. I would never give them business or recommend them to anyone. They yell to close the door constantly. They have a rude sign on the register saying, “my family appreciates you tipping correctly” when if they were nice to people we might tip but a tip isn’t required in this type of business and at these ridiculous prices for what you get to begin with and in case they didn’t know tipping is NOT EVEN customary for food not served at a sit down table by a server so get schooled on that you rude woman! YOU, RUDE WOMAN, IS WHAT HURTS YOUR FAMILY GETTING TIPS OR EVEN RETURN CUSTOMERS!!! They are unorganized and serve customers out of order. Several customers after us were getting hot food, so they either messed up our order or forgot to make part of it but I believe they messed it up and had to remake it but didn’t explain that because the rude lady came back to the front for another tortilla after one already went back with our bagel. The woman that took our order needs to take a seat and do something else in life rather than argue with customers that are unhappy with her rudeness and disorganization or get on HRT for her menopause. Don’t be in a customer service business if you don’t like to serve customers.
As far as the food. So unappealing and bland. The asiago bagel tastes like cardboard and is grainy in texture. You can get better at McDonalds for bagels or Waffle House for bowls. Their avocado is prepackaged holy guacamole style not fresh. The bowls are trash. The iced coffee is just store bought creamers and some coffee out of a big premade jug.
There are so few places here I didn’t read reviews before going like I normally would but after this experience I read their negative reviews and they all mirror my experience so they know their issues. The owners responses to the negative reviews are unprofessional, rude, and argumentative instead of taking them as an opportunity to improve the business and customer experience. The owners responses back up everything any one leaving negative reviews are saying with transparency.
