Moose Lodge — Local services in Marathon

We went there right at 3 pm when they opened for lunch. The moose itself is nothing to write home about, but the food was delicious, and our waitress/bartend was very friendly. The five of us all got the French dip sandwich, and it was amazing. We found out the cook, cooked his own prime rib, and sliced it himself. We got cheesecake to go, and we were a little disappointed because we were told it had a strawberry sauce on it, which it did not. The New York style cheesecake was amazing never the less. Fran the president was great, bartender was great. However, don't come here unless you want to hear three locals talk about how crummy the tourists are. They had no interest in conversing with us, which is fine but don't talk no sense in talking bad about us in front of our faces. Fran thanks for the tour and good luck with the bathroom upgrades.
