Run away! Don’t do it! It’s not worth the money saved from staying somewhere off of this road. Just do not do it. And if you’re like us and book it anyways, beware that they won’t refund you if you don’t leave within 15 minutes of entering your room (🚩!!!)

The whole hotel smells like an atrocious combination of musty-mildew and smoke. We were traveling on government per diem allowance so we went with this place since it was one of the only options that fell within budget. It was 12 days into our journey so we were feeling extremely exhausted and despite the overall repulsive smells when we checked in, we figured whatever, it’s 10pm let’s just go to sleep. We go inside room 107 and it looks dirty, the room is humid and I would presume close to 90 degrees (they don’t turn on the AC for your arrival), and the repulsive smell is even worse than before. I swear that my throat started to hurt after a while from whatever was in the air in this room, it was awful. There is a red (dried) spill in the corner of the room by the window, which was the icing on the cake of this train wreck. We decide to go to sleep but I cannot shake the feeling that sleeping in this room is quite literally jeopardizing our health and safety (the surrounding seediness of the area didn’t help). I tried to “suck it up” and go to sleep with my shirt over my head so I didn’t have to smell whatever funk was in the air 🤢.

After 3 hours, we get up and decide we need to get out of there at almost 1am. The front desk attendant was very nice and tried to show us another room upstairs. We just wanted to get out of there though and get anywhere else. I would have slept in my car over sleeping in that room. He says they won’t charge us the $40 deposit but the policy clearly states that there are no refunds after 15 minutes in the room, so he can’t refund us and doesn’t budge. At that point we just want to get out of there and say the h3(! with it, it’s not worth it. We’d bite the bullet to get out of that situation, stat.

We go down the road to the Homewood by Hilton and it’s like the Taj Mahal walking into that place after the horrors of that other hotel. I tell the front desk about what happened and she told me although she’s not familiar with that exact hotel (which is a red flag in itself), that area is BAD and we were lucky to get out of there in one piece. She seemed like a no BS lady and was so nice to us, we were still shaken up by the whole experience. As soon as we got up the room, we both showered at 1:30am just to get rid of the dirty-feeling that lingered from laying down in the bed in room 107…

I’ll also add that my partner and I frequently stay in budget hotels but we’ve never seen anything quite like that place. We’ve traveled outside of the country, staying in cheap hostels that were so much more comfortable than that place. We are not fussy, and I do not leave bad reviews. This was just a really, really, REALLY bad experience.

So, all in all… don’t be us and avoid this place at all costs. It’s not worth...

My experience staying at the Home Inn &Suites was by far the worst experience imaginable!!!😡😠 Can I just say..I'm not one of those people who complains about everything. In all seriousness I had to push myself to dial front desk. The phone was nasty, I didn't appreciate having to hold it up to my face! As although I was beyond frustrated I still kept a civil tone and addressed the situation politely. I simply stated that I found someone's earring next to my nightstand, gum stuck on my nightstand as well, and an cigar wrapper on the floor. What appeared to be an bloodstained blanket on the bed, windows Seal covered with dead flys and roaches. My microwave handle was filthy, don't get me started on how filthy my mattress was! I have pictures but surprise surprise they won't allow u to post on these reviews! The lady had an very poor attitude she was speaking in a little louder than necessary tone. I can practically see the neck rolling through the phone. She called her manager and in other words pretty much assured me that I was the bad guy in her version of this story and nothing would come of my negative review. She moved me to as another room that has an smell and actual live roaches this time. She told me all the mattresses would pretty much be the same "stained and filthy" from what I could see..did I mention sticky and covered in crumbs?? I could go on and on about how awful this experience was, need less to say this establishment if one could even call it that.. is not worth the 60 something dollars they charge! NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!!!!😤😨😨😠😠 You're welcome future curious customers!!! Save your money! Your car is much cleaner most likely..and if not at least you know who's filth you're laying in. This filthy place is Probably unhealthy! Don't do it!!! By the way I only gave it one star because it wouldn't let me hit the post button if I hadn't..in my opinion it's around a...

I came in Thursday 12/28/2023 till Saturday 12/30/2023 from Memphis, Tennessee. The environment was not entirely negative, although the room did appear somewhat outdated. However, it is worth noting that the front desk receptionists exhibited a high level of friendliness and were quite helpful in their interactions. The cleanliness of the room was acceptable considering its affordability. The breakfast did not meet expectations and may have contributed to feelings of disappointment upon waking up. There was no variety of breakfast options provided only cold cereal, bread, small blueberry muffins, self-serve waffles coffee, and milk in hot and cold thermals. There was just one pitcher of orange juice that had been emptied. It would have been great if they had a wider range of selections, such as a variety of fruit products, breakfast meat, eggs, oatmeal, different juices, bagels cold water. The primary need identified is for a team member to ensure the area's cleanliness and replenish food supplies. I observed a lack of essential condiments such as pepper, salt, butter, jelly, and other items. To secure your reservation, a deposit of $40 was required. It is important to note that this deposit can only be refunded upon presentation of the receipt at the end of your stay. The noise level of the furnace in the room was frustrating. Our room 309, which was conveniently situated near the elevator with the "Do Not Disturb" sign visibly displayed on the door. After spending the entire day out on 12/29/2023, we returned to find ourselves unable to access our room. According to the gentleman at the reception desk, it appears that we may have inadvertently tried to enter the incorrect room. He said we went to “Room 311.” Me my husband and our 9 year old went to the wrong room!! That was unreal!!! Overall it was an okay place to stay....

I wasn't expecting the Taj Majal for the price, however, I still wasn't impressed. There were brown stains all over the curtains. The smell of the room was nearly nauseating. There was an extremely strong stench of mold/mildew in the room, and the bathroom was so heavily bleached it was nearly toxic. Despite all the bleach, the tile grout was still black, and there was mold on the ceiling. Also, the shower head only came up to my shoulder (I'm only 5' 10"), and there were roughly 10 squares of toilet paper left on the roll. Good thing I brought my own supply. Also, the light in the bathroom was so dim that it might as well have been nonexistent. I'm glad I'm only staying for one night.

Immediately after entering the lobby there was a strong smell of marijuana, the person at the front desk was dressed unprofessionally wearing a trashy worn out t-shirt. I accidently booked a smoking room which I admit was my own fault but the room also looked run down with cigarette burns on all of the furniture. The bottom of the door was breaking off and there was multiple places in the bathroom that needs work.

In my opinion, even with the old furniture, a clean and pleasant service can be offered. A deep cleaning, even if only monthly, would be good. In our room there was a nest that looked like bees or something like that. The smell of humidity was camouflaged with detergent, but to eradicate it, they should do a deep general cleaning.
