Eastwood Inn — Hotel in Motley

I may need therapy after staying at this motel. We booked online ahead of time as we were going to be working in the area. This was one of the only hotels left available and the star rating on hotels.com was 4.5, Tripadvisor was a Good at 3.3, so I thought, okay this should be fine. This was nowhere near that. We arrived to a room that was filled with a musty/smokey/mystery (possibly crack or some other drug you smoke) smell. We traced some of the odor to the drapes, which we removed and placed in the hallway. The AC also had this aroma, so we were not able to run the air. The comforter on my bed had semen stains on it and the two chairs in the room seemed to have been urinated on them. We advised the front desk of our problems, but they were not going to give us our money back. The only option they gave us was a smoking room, which was not going to happen. I do not know who wrote those other reviews, but do not stay at this hotel unless you want to leave with a disease or you yourself like urinating on furniture. Otherwise book...

Room clean. Screen for window had few large holes in it . Screen was replaced when staff made aware. Dog able to be in room which I appreciated. We were VERY Disappointed the hot tub was not hot nor were the jets very strong. The pool is ONLY " 3 Feet deep and it was dirty we saw what looked like a band-aid in the bottom and did not use. Concerned the hot tub is a "Bacteria Beading" had planned on enjoying the hot tub....this was something I was looking forward to. Very disappointing. Following day staff cleaned room and left extra blankets "as requested " as I was cold night before, however they were draping on the floor (not clean) and they never wash our tub out. Disappointing. From hot tub you can see broken blinds and there are loose tiles on the floor. Hummm. Also for Breakfast NO Paper plates for waffles had to eat on paper napkin. Do not Plan on...

I stayed there 2 nights this past weekend for work. No microwave! A note by the lobby said there was one in the meeting room. I looked for the meeting room but only found the breakfast room locked. I had food from home I ate cold each night.

I got little sleep. Woken up multiple times by people in the lobby talking loudly all night. First night I kept hearing things and tried to ignore it. Finally at 4am I opened the door to find a group of young ladies on the sofa talking and laughing. Saturday night was much the same. Got up for work at 5 and heard noises. One of the same girls was watching a movie on a laptop. Never knew a laptop could be so loud.
