Logged into their Web Page to try and make a reservation. This was not possible since all the rooms showed "UNAVAILABLE". So we decided to call. Melany, the owner, answered our call. As I was explaining to her that we where not able to use their web page to do the reservation because it showed all rooms unavailable and the problems we were having, she raised her voice and cut me off on the phone telling to hush so she could explain and stating that she was in a rush because she had guest arriving shortly. Offered to do the reservation over the phone and I refused telling her I wanted to do it on line. With her on the phone I once again confirmed the Web site IP address and re-entered it to get the exact same results. First and last time looking into staying at this place!!! So much for southern hospitality!!!! Below is the picture of their Web page reservation section.

We stayed at this B&B 3 nights while visiting family and we're extremely pleased. We stayed in the largest room upstairs, although all the rooms looked nice. Our room had a good size bathroom with tub shower combo and a two sink vanity. The room and bathroom were very clean. There was also a TV in the room. Upstairs there is a lounge area between the bedrooms which houses a small fridge which can be used for wine, beer, sodas and such. The furniture and house is beautiful The breakfast each morning was wonderful and served at our specified time. The women who run the place live catie corner to the B&B and are very nice and friendly. We enjoyed talking to them in the morning. You park your car beyond a secure gate so no need to worry about your car parked on the street. We will definitely stay here again.

The Barber-Tucker House is more than just a place to sleep; it's an experience. It's perfect for romantic getaways, solo retreats, or weekends with close friends. If you're seeking a taste of Southern charm, exceptional hospitality, and a chance to unwind, then look no further than the Barber-Tucker House...Melanie went above and beyond. We will definitely return!

We rented the entire place for almost a week for a large gathering of family at Thanksgiving. For that purpose, it turned out quite well. So, I am not knocking the property. During the stay we cooked for ourselves and did the clean-up, leaving the place looking just as good or better than it looked when we checked in. I felt so exuberant about the experience and how well it had gone that I left a generous tip on the counter. However, when my credit card was run, the charge was over twice what we were quoted. My wife and I were floored as we were both present during the discussions regarding cost (the website contains no information about pricing). I had scribbled some pricing notes on a piece of paper and, unfortunately, it subsequently was misplaced or trashed. My bad because they already had my credit card number and it came down to their word against ours. Very unfortunate this happened because it left a bad taste in our mouths and sullied what otherwise would have been a great gathering. Please note that I am not complaining about the facility and I am not really complaining about the actual cost, but had we known what the ultimate price would be and had we known a seemingly random price would be charged, we would have considered...

My son got married in September 2014 in Moultrie, GA, and our family both stayed in the Barber Tucker Inn and celebrated the rehearsal dinner and bridal breakfast there. Fran was the most gracious, most attentive hostess we have ever met. Every detail of our stay was picture perfect. My extended family is from the Northeast and is very particular about accommodations and service. To be able to host the rehearsal dinner in this beautiful venue and sit late into the night talking and laughing on the front porch was a memory I will always treasure. One of my younger sisters remarked afterwards that we had "set the highest standard" for gracious entertainment of out of town guests at a wedding. If you want to experience the finest of Southern hospitality in a beautiful and memorable setting, I offer my highest recommendation for the Barber Tucker Inn and Miss Fran. ...
