To consider myself merely just a client of Flowers by Barrett would be a complete Understatement. I purchase flowers for everything--more than often and usually from here. I've been doing so for YEARS (I should really have a tax write-off for flowers)! So it's really disheartening that I have to write this review. I will not say that the interactions and the customer service has been the best over the years but usually the quality of arrangements are. However, this weekend would be a different case! I recently purchased 3 separate arrangements for 3 different funerals within a week. The first two arrangements were beautiful but the last one not so much. Whenever, I order an arrangement I always ask for a pic to be texted or emailed to me before the delivery. For years, this has NEVER been a problem. When I expressed that I didn't love the last arrangement I was informed that it was already delivered. I was then asked if I wanted the deliver to pick up the flowers from the Funeral Home. Shocked and appalled I called to make sure I didn't misread the response. When speaking to the Mgr (who never apologized), she only stated that she had made the last arrangement unlike the first two and could discreetly pick up the undesirable flowers and exchange them. For a moment, I agreed to this but I quickly realized how tacky, unprofessional, and insensitive that would be especially if anyone from the grieving family had to witness this. So, I called back and asked that they not retrieve the flowers. I am so dissatisfied with the bouquet my mother received as a birthday + Mother’s Day gift. I called this florist and requested a primarily yellow rose bouquet (my mother’s favorite flowers), accented by other spring/wildflowers. I left the selection of the flowers to the florist. We agreed that I would spend $95 on the flowers and that they would be delivered on May 8th. The flowers were apparently delivered on the agreed-upon date (my mom didn’t find them till the following day, but that’s not the florist’s fault), but please see the attached picture. Not what I expected for what I paid: for example, there are only two or three yellow roses in the arrangement. I will not be ordering from this...

I have done business with Ronnie for years. Recently I ordered a peace lily for a friend’s funeral and when arriving I saw they sent some other plant that was not a peace lily. When I called the next week to tell them that wasn’t what I ordered they said Ronnie wasn’t there but they would tell him. Later, the lady called back and called me a liar and said I ordered “a green plant” as if any rational person would order that way. At no point did I raise my voice and I was never ugly, but she then said “Ronnie says you won’t be billed this time but to never call back here”.
