The Rodeway Inn was one of my least favorite stays in the states ... The staff there were very blunt and hurried to check us in without any real greeting. We asked for a handicapped room, or at least one that was on the 1st floor, and they gave us a floor on the 4th floor. I had to bring it up to the staff again, and they quickly changed it. But even then, our room still wasn't in any better condition. There were holes on the wall, like the one in the picture, limited decorations, and limited to no outlets for us to use to charge our devices. The main outlet by the bedside wasn't even working properly! This led to us unplugging the TV and microwave at times just to charge our phones and my partner's laptop. Next is the cleanliness. The room was below that of being clean - a lot of the towels had stains or marks on them, as if they had never been washed in the first place, and were just folded and put back to where they were. The metal that held the towels in the bathroom was also rusting very badly, making me even less trusting of using the towels provided. The bathtub had stains on the base where we stepped in. A lot of the times we were just using slippers and our own towels to make it through the nights that we slept here. Another disturbing thing is the neighborhood and our neighbors. A couple people here are living as residents, instead of visitors, and look kind of sketchy. Police presence also occurred several times throughout the nights that we stayed here, which added to the additional concerns and cautions that we already had of the place and the people here. This place barely passes hygiene for a hotel, and I would recommend looking elsewhere. The price is one of the lowest and affordable in Nashville, I won't deny that. But I'd rather spend a few more bucks to get a leaner place, than stay here again. I do not recommend booking with Rodeway Inn ...

Skip and book hotel Glo next door I stayed here 5 nights - I picked hotel cause it said 45-55 a night. ( cost more than that!) In March Thursday-Monday FEES you need to know about !! You loose /lock your self out : card 5$ to get a new one ! 3% credit card fee. 100$ fee Deposit - If you do separate bookings that are back to back the 11-3 they will charge you 25$ or ask you to move out of room then check back in at 3. ! There is no flexibility There Documents you are required to sign say in an emergency situation they can enter with out any notice including not knocking 🚨 The front lot is rented to airport parking which is closest to exit. Inconvenience to hotel guest I requested a main floor room. No accommodating ( ask for 1&2 floors - rooms 104 ect if have a dog ) instead they put me on the 4 th floor on a Saturday the elevator didn’t work for 24 hours ) the one thing that drove me nuts was rooms on 4 th floor the key would not work and 2x a day I’d have to go to the office just to get them to redo my key. And same for other hotel guest - if you’re busy trying to go to work. This isn’t ideal. Towels had hair on them. And the couch needs to be trashed and the chairs in lobby need to be put in the rooms or a futon at 100$ 🔌the outlets do not work for todays outlets and had to use power banks to charge my electronics Fridge has no freezer The elevator floor is nasty needs to be moped daily The lobby is the nicest part of the hotel Pluses Microwave fridge and comfortable bed Dog Travelers ; they had a husky dog roming the property no leash that lives there. When taking my dog out the husky kept wanting to approach my small dog. I told the dog to stop and no and dog w not do my commands No owner no leash yet they say they can’t do anything about it. !

Avoid if you can. First of all, there is no pool. It's covered over and looks like it hasn't been used in years. Front desk person was behind a thick plexiglass barrier, with a slot to talk through. Indian lady checking me in was pleasant enough. But she warned me that occupying the room after 11am would result in an extra charge. From the people I saw, and the cars in the parking lot, this is one of those "motels of last resort." My room was adequate, but the TV didn't work. I really don't watch much TV these days, so I didn't bother to report it to the staff. In the morning, I went to the lobby for a cup of coffee. A single coffee dispenser was empty. No breakfast foods that I could see. When I finally caught the attention of the guy who seemed to be working the front desk, he flashed five or ten? fingers at me. Twelve minutes later, I returned to the lobby for coffee. No coffee. When I finally caught the attention of another Indian guy who seemed to be working there, he barked at me, " I am not free! I got things to do!" I then walked across the street to the Dunkin Donuts to PAY for a cup of coffee. The place was crowded and no one seemed to be assisting customers at all, although they were serving customers through the drive through window. I gave up on that, and walked up to a nearby gas station for coffee.

Starting with the price everything about this place is disgusting, We looked online for a price and every website said this hotel is $50-$60 so even though it has some questionable reviews we decided to stay since we were only planning on sleeping for a few hours and then hitting the road again. When I got to the front desk at 4am the young lady said the price was $85 plus a $45 deposit I questioned the price and pointed out the prices shown online she got a massive attitude but I chalked it up to maybe her being tired or frustrated with something else, I asked politely for a receipt and she got even worse and said they dont print receipts cause they dont have enough paper. At this point I am tired and frustrated and thought I would just take it up with the person at the counter when we checked out. I didnt even look around at the property at this point cause I just want to sleep. When we arrived to our room #124 We have trouble getting the door open and discover that the lip above the door is actually hanging down inside the room and my husband had to put his arm inside and push it up to get the door to open, once inside we can see that above the door is all water damaged, damp and bubbled. I go back to the front desk and ask for another room, she ignores me like Im not even there so I ask for a refund and she points to the no refund sign. Now Im mad but need to sleep so we go back to the room, thinking its just for a few hours. Once fully inside the room I asked my husband to pull back the sheets and check for bugs, the mattresses looked pretty clean however there are crackers in the bed under the sheets, like actual saltine crackers. I have him throw them out, again telling myself its just a few hours. I go into the bathroom and as I sit on the toilet I look up and realize the ceiling is bubbled up as well and has black mold all over it, the tub has rusty spots and dead roaches in the bottom of it, I think to myself ""well we aren't planning on showering here, so no biggy" I get out of the bathroom and go to wash my hands and as I touched the handle to the sink the handle falls off.. Now at this point I'm just absolutely pissed but also realize I have no other option cause I dont have another $100 to go anywhere else so I suck it up and just decide to lay down. I realize its really hot in the room and ask my husband to turn the AC on, he opens the cover and laughs and says "uhh, all the knobs are gone and its set to 80 heat" so now we are gonna sleep in a broiler... Still I tell myself its just a couple of hours.... Within 2-3 mins of lying down the neighbors turn their TV on at full blast, and someone is now banging on something in the bathroom next door which sounds like its in our bathroom echoing constantly. I again approach the front desk and lay out all of the issues and ask her to please just give us another room or at least ask the neighboring room to stop banging and turn the TV down, she tells me that she can but she will charge me for another night if she does. At this point I have just had enough we retrieved our belongings and go to leave, I start looking around outside and notice that one of the sets of stairs is caution taped and crumbling as well as the walkway on the floor above us, the concrete is sagging right above the door of the room we were just in. The entire area outside is littered with trash and they appear to be using the pool area as some makeshift garden, they have discarded tubs with plants growing in them around the pool along with some broken tubs lying on their sides in the same area. Now its 4:25ish, only 25mins since we checked in and I go to check out and she refuses to check me out says she will have to charge an early checkout fee and asks for my card again, I say hell no and go to leave, as I head out the door there is another couple behind me trying to get a refund as well. This place is absolutely disgusting and morally messed up preying on travelers who don't...

Let me start by saying when you book a hotel through a website all you should have to do is go in and get your key and leave however I’ve booked my hotel on Priceline got to roadway and she informed me that it was a mandatory $50 deposit that I would get back the next morning And since I already booked a room online without anything about a deposit being said, I reluctantly paid it.. That was the first red flag

#2- Not only when I got into the room was it scorching hot but the face plate to the thermostat was torn off the wall, The wall fan in the room barely worked, and when I called the front desk to tell them, it was super hot in the room, and the air wasn’t on her exact response was “ You are lying, you are liar I know air on” To which my response was “ If the air was on my partner and I would not be profusely sweating with our own fan in the door” And she still refused to move us.

#3- As we were trying to cool down and relax for bed, I get 2 to 3 notifications from my bank on my phone as well he gets two, They are informing us that ROADWAY INN Has attempted to charge both of our accounts indifference amounts between $10 and $85 For absolutely no reason (To their luck both of our accounts, we had locked, so nothing could be charged because let me tell you if those charges went through roadway would be sued and most likely not open much longer)

#4- We had a reservation for the next days as well however they told us that we had to check out after day one and then check back in on day two and we also had to pay another $50 deposit which we still hadn’t got the first one back.

#5- So this was the last and final straw for our stay at the awful and terrible disgusting roadway inn But.. My partner and I decided we were gonna take a shower after the long day we had to clean and try and relax however about 3 to 4 minutes into the shower we look up to see a blinking white blue and red light (Mind you yes we are standing in the shower so a complete sense of shock and unsafeness Came over us) as I slowly reach inside the vent above the shower, I pull out a miniature camera almost looks like it was bought off Temu or something, and I immediately rushed downstairs and show the woman behind the desk and I am asking for an explanation as I’m asking for the explanation she grabs the little miniature camera Tells us that we are in violation of their locations policy and that we are no longer allowed on that property we need to check out now!!! Mind you we haven’t even finished our stay and she’s exclaiming, no refunds..

So all in all roadway Inn still stole an entire night from us they stole our deposits from us because they have never been returned, and they also tried to illegally charge our bank accounts, and the most important thing is the camera that she would not let me have back so that screams suspicion to me !! However, I will say it’s an awful/terrible part of town and there are awful/terrible people running the hotel so for future reference everybody and anybody reading this please check your room for cameras. Please make sure you have AC before you take your stuff to it and lastly, before you stay anywhere in Nashville, make sure roadway Inn by the airport is your last resort and I mean last I would rather sleep in my vehicle for a night rather than go there .. I’ll be honest I think it’s a family that runs the whole place and they are very sketchy the fact that she would not let me have that miniature camera back. Makes me wanna call the police, but I’m afraid it’s probably too late cause I got rid of...

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place earned it. Easily the worst experience I’ve ever had with any hotel, anywhere.

We got there around 8PM after an eight-hour drive. Check-in was fine, but we got to our room and immediately realized the water wouldn’t cool down or even shut off. It was just blazing hot, nonstop. We called the front desk and a maintenance guy came up, but he couldn’t fix it. So now we’re standing in this hot, unusable room with a random guy trying to figure out a plumbing issue while all we want to do is shower and go to sleep.

I eventually asked to be moved because this was going nowhere and it was getting late, now past 9PM. They handed us a key to another room on the fourth floor. We packed up all our stuff, went upstairs, and got to the door. The key doesn’t work. The lock itself isn’t even responding. We call again and ask if someone can bring us a new key since clearly this one is dead and we’ve already been through enough. The woman at the front desk tells me, “You’ll have to come down. I have four customers waiting.” As if we hadn’t been waiting for hours and still didn’t have a working room.

So I go down alone while my girlfriend stays with our bags. Instead of a replacement key she gives me a whole new room. A third one. Now on the second floor. We drag everything back down and get in. There’s a puddle on the floor from the fridge and the microwave door is broken. We call again. At this point they even tried to imply the microwave damage might have been our fault, which is just insulting.

We’re moved again. A fourth room. This one’s finally okay. But it’s late as hell by now, we’re exhausted, frustrated, and just done with it.

In the morning, we went to the front desk to ask if they could offer at least a partial refund for everything we went through. We were told yes, that would’ve been possible if we hadn’t stayed the night. Except we asked for a refund the night before and were denied, told we’d only get our deposit back if we checked out. So that was a complete dead end.

And here’s the part that really pushed it over the edge. While we were having that conversation, yes we were clearly annoyed and gave some attitude, which any reasonable person would understand. But the woman at the desk looked at us and said, “When people like you come in…” Right to our faces. That’s when it turned into a shouting match. Unprofessional doesn’t even begin to cover it.

This place is a joke. Horrible service, broken rooms, and staff that clearly don’t care....
