Positive reviewers must be nuts, or workers because uhhh...no ma'am! If I could leave a NEGATIVE 5 RATING, I would in a heartbeat. Now don't get me wrong, finding these establishment online, and reading the apparent phoney reviews, I figured I would "get what I pay for", considering the room was under $60 per night. We drove all the way from South Florida, to visit a family member in Natchez. Once we arrived, we were pleasantly greeted by a nice Gentleman, whom immediately proceed to get us checked in. We had a slight issue with the location of one of the rooms upstairs, as we had a handicapped traveler with us. No hesitation whatsoever to change the initial room, to a downstairs room. We got ours keys, and proceed to the assigned rooms.
Trouble awaits. As we entered ALL 3 rooms, we were met with Hot, smelly rooms. The Ac was off, so once turned on, the smell of mildew and cigarettes blasted us. Luckily, I brought air freshener. First thing noticed in all rooms, the Bed linen was disgusting. Blood, food, and "bodily fluids" stained. Floors, same thing, but it appeared in one room, ejaculate was used as a painting tool on the floor around the bed, and entrance to bathroom, which was also dirty. No comfort to walk without shoes!! Two pets, and I had to put blankets down, to assure they didn't lay on the nasty ground. ( BLANKETS WILL BE DISCARDED! ) Outlets were ripped out/raggedy. 3 lights did not work at all. Chairs were stained, like they were wet and never cleaned. No bath linen for over an hour, until a young lady brought some "fresh" things to the door. One of our rooms, we had to ask for them. Another room in our group had a nasty ring around both Tub and toilet, with No toiletries offered, aside from a half used bottle of shampoo..the same room did not even have a working toilet, and we alerted front desk. She was told there was no maintenance for the weekend, and offered yet another room. By that time, packing had commenced, and would be too much of a hassle by that time of night from traveling for over 14 hours. Resulted in declining, but having to fill an empty can with water to flush. Very upsetting . Property itself was OK on the outside, not much to look at. Decor was dated, but to be expected. Plenty of space to play with pets who are welcome, which I did appreciate. The experience was very MEH in general, but it served its short purpose. Will not be returning to this Place anytime soon, if ever. The best review can be given to the staff. Very friendly and personable. No complaints whatsoever, as they did show as much hospitality as they...
Read moreThis is absolutely the worst lodging I have ever seen, let alone stayed in, in my ENTIRE life. PLEASE stay away from this property. I was there two nights ago, and I'm still struggling with the contents in this room - my allergies are awful anyway and I've had major trouble since checking out. We rented two rooms. Both were abysmal. They do not offer refunds and they are not, in any way, helpful to guests. See images. The ceiling was moldy and collapsing. During a storm, the ceiling began leaking and pieces of the ceiling fell into the room (and our luggage). There was no phone in the room to call the front desk. We attempted to call from a cell phone and they did not answer. I took pictures of roaches crawling across the microwave stand. There was no slip guards in the bath tub, and my mother took a nasty fall. The door did not close all the way and we had to push a table against it (we would have anyway for safety). The sheets were stained with what appeared to be blood and other bodily fluids. The bedspread had cigarette burns in it and the odor in the rooms was not, to say the least, ideal. One room had a plastic bag tied around the smoke detector, and the bathroom sink handles were so lose they could be moved. That particular room's AC also did not shut off. The other room's AC had visible mold and mildew growing inside it. There was an unsavory ring left beside the bed, which alone says quite a bit about this place's traditional clientele. When shown these pictures and the ring, the front desk clerk laughed. There was no covers on the electrical outlets, so children especially don't need to be here. AVOID THIS PLACE. It shouldn't even be opened...
Read moreHad a reservation through hopper. Drove 3+ hrs to meet my uncle and dad. Drove right passed the hotel as it looked abandoned. My man told me to turn around and drive up and see. Well I go to front desk and tell them I made a reservation through the hopper app. They tried charging me a $100 cash deposit because I have a pitbull service dog! That's when I got my dad and uncle involved. My uncle was going to pay the $100 deposit just so we could have a room to get out the heat and that's when they said they had no double beds. Then they switched up and said they had a double bed room but it had a leak and I was welcome to that room. Sorry but not sorry mine and my families health is not being jeopardized by a room that is probably full of mold. I refused the room and walked out well later that night I go to use my card and it's declined and i'm asking myself why. they never seen my ID or my bank card but still charged me for a room I never stayed in and are lying to hopper saying I never showed up. Sorry but i have 4 witnesses to prove I showed up and you tried to stick me and my family in a...
