Harbor Freight — Local services in Natchez

From being a HF employee for a few years & shopping HF for even more years. I have never had a bad experience until today, this location. Trying to refund an item with receipt. Cashier rude, eyes rolling. A manager informs me that if I used it I had to pay restocking fee. Trying to keep Half of the money that I paid. Corporate was of no help. I ask to speak to the supervisor for the person on the phone. This man puts me on hold 5/6 minutes and comes back to the phone telling me that he is sending everything to regional manager. I asked "why can I not speak to your supervisor?" He says rudely "BECAUSE I AM HANDLING IT" He asks me for my information however I keep having to correct him as he repeats it back. I don't know what information he actually put into his computer. He says I should hear back from the Regional Manager within 2 or 3 days. He can't give me a name for the Manger. He can't give me a number so I can call. It has been a horrible experience. As soon as I am refunded every cent I Paid. My rating will will be higher....

With some items you get what you pay for. Some things are of good quality and the prices are good. Most of the workers are friendly and helpful but there are a couple younger people who have an attitude and seem to be lazy. Overall I like the store and I'm glad natchez has one now. I just hope that in a year it won't be like the majority of other chain stores in this town that all go downhill after a while until they are the worst location...

First time in the store; my neighbor took me to buy some small things to use as a do-it-yourself fixer. Bits for a drill I bought more than a year ago, zip ties for a hand-me-down fence I've had for 5 months, and a bag to put my too few items in.
