TL; DR-- Lovely place, well appointed, awesome hosts. 5 stars! We found The Inn on Market during a Google Search as we looked for somewhere unique and classy to stay during a quick visit to New Wilmington, PA. First of all, the area is just delightful! The charming residents, historic homes and other structures, and the nearby Amish Community are certainly a draw for visitors. However, The Inn on Market was the keystone of our stay. Brian and Angel, a charming couple with long-time ties to the area, are the innkeepers. Within 10 minutes of our online booking, we got a personal text from Brian welcoming us and giving specific arrival and parking directions. When we arrived, he was waiting to greet us with a warm smile and the B & B had all the comforts we expected as well as several unexpected features that grabbed our attention. The historic home is from the 1820s and the updates to the structure have been done with kindness to its architectural integrity. The interior is beautiful with classic decor and the innkeepers' unique touches. The bed was very comfortable and there was a modern ensuite bath. We toured some of the other suites in the B & B, and they were stunning. Breakfast was simple and delicious, and Brian and Angel were very gracious hosts. We very much enjoyed our visit with them. Excellent coffee! We will go back as soon as possible! 5 stars, highly recommend!

Brian and Angel were perfect hosts, and were so welcoming, kind, and joyfully served us. We stayed in the first floor room on the market street side at the bottom of the stairs. We had a comfortable king size bed, and our own full size bathroom. Coffee was served from 8-9, and breakfast at 9. We always had a full cup, and the Inn had many spots to sit and relax while sipping coffee. There was an extra fridge we were allowed to store goodies we picked up in Amish country for our trip home. The backyard has comfortable lawn chairs for sitting and whiling away an afternoon. Wifi is provided. New Wilmington has, beautiful country to drive, bike, or walk around in, and is only an hour or so from Downtown Pittsburgh. We were graciously provided tips for our time in Pittsburgh. I would highly recommend The Inn on Market in New Wilmington for your next stay in Western Pa Amish country.

As I read all the previous reviews, I thought maybe everyone was going overboard, but after staying here, we found that everything people had said about the Inn and the proprietors is right on the point. The Inn is beautifully furnished with an eclectic variety of furnishings and very well maintained. We arrived later in the evening than we'd hoped and Brian met us and showed us around. As we settled in, and had questions he responded quickly to our texts and let us know of places in the area to find what we needed. There are so many areas in the inn to relax and enjoy. We're looking forward to our next visit!

What an absolute gem! The hosts could not have been more gracious, accommodating, and anticipated our every need/want. We booked several rooms in the Inn for several nights as part of our wedding celebration, with family and friends traveling in from all parts of the country. Everyone was simply blown away by the elegance, tasteful aesthetics, and warmth of every room! The attention to detail in this historic house is remarkable, and clearly a work of loving craftsmanship. And there are so many great places to gather in small groups or larger ones for quiet conversations or family meals, from the sunroom, to the parlor, to the lounge, to the backyard replete with dappled shade and lovely breeze. We had so many great meals and conversations in this magical setting. And I should mention, the breakfasts/brunches were amazing! Angel and Brian really took the time to put together meals that had something for everyone's taste (which truly covered a wide range), served with quiet and friendly attention that never let the coffee in our cups run out, or our palates unsatisfied. Such a delightful way to begin the day. I really could go on and on about how much these accommodations added to our overall enjoyment of the wedding celebration. Like I said, the hosts and the inn are just magical. We can't wait gather...

My husband and I stayed here while attending a wedding nearby and we are so happy we chose to stay here instead of a regular hotel! The location is perfect: next to westminster college (beautitful), right across from The Tavern, and a short drive to Willowbrook (11 min). The room was cool even in July, beautifully decorated, and accessible without disrupting other guests. It was quiet, but they also provided a white noise machine. The owners, Brian and Angel, were absolutely wonderful! They were attentive and accommodating - they even provided gluten-free bread for breakfast!! This is something I have experienced while traveling abroad, but is not typically available/provided in the states. The breakfast was delicious and we had such a great time that we will be returning as soon as we can! Volant, PA is also a short drive away (7min) so if you want to visit Volant, I highly recommend staying...
