Westminster College — Attraction in New Wilmington

You will never complain about not getting your money's worth in education. The classes here are amazing and challenging and will force you to learn new things and think different ways. However, that is the only thing you will get your money's worth in. The campus security AND the campus physical plant are extremely lackadaisical and could care less. I had to call campus security once to handle a situation and they sent a retired, withered, old man wearing a knee brace and he didn't arrive until 40 minutes after I made the call. The residence halls are also vile. Their idea of a renovation is a fresh coat of paint, new flooring and some extremely ugly and dysfunction furniture for the lobby areas. Also, anyone coming here because they are democratic/liberal; sorry to disappoint you, but the only liberal part about the campus are only about 75 percent of the campus professors. 40th reunion: amazing how much has changed and how much is the same. It was fantastic to see and talk with old friends. Suddenly I miss my college years, so many friendly and challenging conversations, accepting friends, shared experiences. Westminster College is as much a relationship as an educational institution. Missing professors who are no longer there.
