Theo’s Creperie — Restaurant in New Wilmington

The staff and restaurant itself is great, everyone is friendly and the place is very clean. The food though, not so much.

We ordered the Olivia and Berry Good crepes with poutine as a side. The presentation was amazing but that's where the magic stopped. The berries in the crepes were frozen. The chocolate sauce and berry sauce were very clearly from Hershey's bottles. The fries were lukewarm and the cheese was ice cold as well as the gravy that tasted very subpar. I shouldn't be surprised since the cost isn't much, pay cheap prices get cheap quality.

I really wanted to enjoy this place and was so excited when a crepe shop opened locally but I left disappointed. I feel like some simple changes could be made that could make this place an easy 5 stars. I might give them a second chance in the future to see if...

This review is only on the pancake & waffle that I had. My original order was for pancake & side of bacon. Was very excited to see a nice thin pancake - just the way I like them. Unfortunately, the pancake was awful. It was very gummy. It was almost like it wasn’t cooked all the way, but with how thin it was it didn’t seem possible. The girls were extremely nice & asked if I wanted something else. They recommended the waffle. Sadly, the waffle wasn’t great either. Had a very strong taste of baking powder. This was our second time visiting & I wanted to try something other than the crepes - which were very good. Left wishing I would have just ordered a crepe. Bacon was delicious & staff were very friendly...

Had the berry good crepe, it was decent. Leaves a little to be desired really needed some sweet cream on the inside... And not the strawberry syrup they put on it. It all ready has fruit inside. You don't have to add syrup. Sweet cream drizzle and some white chocolate drizzle and it would have been amazing. Also the pinball machine in the lobby is ridiculous. Sitting there listening to kids slap the buttons on the side of the machine right behind you is unnecessary. As far as the other breakfast is concerned it looked delicious. I had some bacon and it was very good...
