The airport manager should be ashamed of this airport. I have travelled all over the world and seen nothing like this. Endless endless queues and the only solution was then to join three queues together which caused total chaos. I had heard all this before and thought I’d rather queue and be secure than go quick and not be screened properly. Well I thought the screening was very lax although it was good to see a sniffer dog. I thought the TSA staff were quite happy having their own conversation and passengers were a distraction. On arrival it took 4 hours to get from landing to our hotel ( granted traffic was awful) but the immigration queue was the stuff of nightmares. However once through this we had been so long that the TSA had removed our baggage off the belt so no waiting there. The staff where you get your transfer were LOVELY and much more like every other New Yorker we came across. Despite this horrendous airport it did not spoil what was an amazing trip to the big apple BUT next time we will fly to NewArk or La Guardia. |Maybe some shadowing at Dubai international or Bangkok would help the management team here. And some customer...

I went down to the lobby about 0400 and talked to a very nice desk clerk, total opposite of the previous clerk. I had no sleep and was ill prepared to care for my wife. This is unacceptable and will not ever stay here again. I will discourage anyone else from staying here. UPDATE: I called the corporate office and they quickly tried to remedy the situation. The manager called me with 10 min. Unfortunately, due to the severity of the surgery and my wife being heavily medicated I didn't want to move her and decided to stay in the same room. The manager comped us the 1 night, which I guess it's better than nothing. Being the only one caring for my wife and being in this situation, my options...
