One Bar And Lounge — Restaurant in New York

I’ve visited this bar/lounge on several occasions, and while the bartenders have always been very nice and accommodating, the management and their practices have left much to be desired.

The first time I encountered an issue was during a friend’s birthday celebration. She paid for bottle service online, but when we arrived, the manager claimed they don’t accept online payments and informed her that her money would be refunded. This forced her to pay for the bottle packages all over again at a much higher price, which was frustrating and unprofessional.

On my own birthday, I faced a similar situation. I had confirmed bottle package prices with a bartender via text and even took pictures of the advertised prices. However, when I arrived, the same manager told me those prices were incorrect, and we ended up paying more. Despite showing him the advertised prices, he was dismissive and rude, clearly not caring about the misleading information they had provided.

While the bartenders’ friendliness and professionalism are commendable, this business will lose customers because of its false advertising. It’s not right to treat people this way. After being a regular customer, I will not be returning due to these experiences. I hope they address these issues to avoid losing more...

I've visited this establishment several times, and I have some observations and suggestions for improvement:

Restroom:The restroom needs a significant upgrade. It is very small, and the door opens awkwardly.One of the toilets is missing a seat, which is inconvenient and unsanitary.There are frequent issues with the availability of hand soap and paper towels.The sink occasionally clogs, which is frustrating.

Service:The waitstaff's attentiveness leaves much to be desired, particularly for patrons who don't order hookah or bottle service. For better service, it seems you need to sit at the bar.This uneven attention affects the overall dining experience.

Food:The food is just okay; there’s room for improvement in taste and quality.

Ambiance:The music is good and adds to the atmosphere.The bar area is well-maintained and pleasant.Watching sports games here is fun and entertaining, with a nice sense of community.I haven't witnessed any fights, which speaks to a generally positive environment. The crowd is very diverse, which was great to see.

Went here with some friends for the first time and I was disappointed in the service over all. It was supposed to be happy hour where the chosen drinks were free on Tuesday. When getting the bill we saw we were charged for the said drinks and the waitress expressed it was orders from her boss. I absolutely loved the jerk chicken tic fries and definitely will order them again in the future but I was very disappointed in the service. If the drinks won’t be free for male and females then don’t broadcast it as happy hour… also the waitresses do not come to the booths to check on us we would have to physically wave or get up to go meet with them to order something. We also had to keep reminding our waitress several times that we placed drink orders and waited very long to get those drinks. I think tics is a nice hang out spot but I do think that the service needs to be better. The food is not the best but the hookah is good but don’t charge people when you clearly have it broadcasted on Facebook and instagram for chosen...
