Arrived to a room with a sink that wouldn't drain and shower rod that appears about to fall off, broken tiles around the jacuzzi in the room, an ac that worked only after we removed the filters that apparently never get cleaned. We had no bedding for the pull out couch which I doubt housekeeping was even told to give us based on how the place is being run. The phone had a message that won't clear and red flashing light that would keep you awake unless you unplug the phone. When plugged in the phone won't call the front desk when you push the button. So we had to go down to the front desk to get bedding. Then I the guest was told that I would know better than them what kind of sheets would fit the pullout couch, a fitted, or 2 flat sheets. Luckily they did have 1 pillow. Other guests were at the desk each time we approached having issues with their rooms and being told by staff that they aren't technicians so to just go try this or that. The toilet took 2 to 3 flushes to go down and sink took about 45 minutes to drain. Luckily the jacuzzi worked and we needed it to de-stress! I cannot imagine Best Western would allow their name on a place in this condition being so poorly run. If this is the Best Western, I'd be afraid to see the worst western. The place was absolutely overrun with construction workers which made us uncomfortable to go down and use the pool. Definately would not consider this a family friendly place to stay. Felt very uncomfortable...unsafe even. The one redeeming thing about our stay is that it was for only 1 night. I can't say anything about breakfast as we couldn't wait to get out of there and weren't interested in trying the breakfast after everything else we...
Read moreWe had originally tried to book rooms at this hotel and there was an unavailable and then when we happened to look it up again we found that there were rooms available so I went ahead and booked two of the suites.
The rooms were decent. There was a lot of upgrades that were made but not appropriately as such as the paint there was paint all over the place.
The beds were very comfortable. The rooms did not smell. They were nice and clean. They disappeared as though they had attempted to start remodeling them or just making some updates that did not go through the way that they should have or did not appear that way that they should have.
The hotel is in a great location. The gentleman that checked us in and checked us out was great. The staff that was on the evening that we were there acted like he would rather be somewhere else doing something else and he had on sweatpants that were stained and a t-shirt and he was more worried about talking to people that were sitting in the lobby as opposed to helping people that were waiting at the desk.
The swimming pool area is nice. The pool was heated. The kids loved it.
There is a nice breakfast. I did not eat the food but it appeared and smelled like it was good.
You would definitely probably stay at this hotel again mainly due to the rooms being consistent, the location...
Read moreI would give ZERO stars if I could. My mother stayed her on Wednesday June 7th for just one night while driving to Kansas for a family funeral. The morning she was set to leave the hot water wasn’t working due the storm- that’s understandable but they promised it would be working within the hour. IT WASN’T. Then the light in the bathroom wasn’t working, okay things happen. They promised it would be working within the hour. IT WASN’T. She was willing to let go of both of those mishaps & decided to grab some lobby breakfast before getting on the road even though she couldn’t take a shower or properly get ready. Upon her return to the room the door was broken & she was LOCKED OUT OF HER ROOM FOR ALMOST 4 HOURS. She had medicine in the room that she needed to take. And more importantly had to get on the road to be in Kansas for the funeral preparation! The hotel staff- especially Jennifer the manager didn’t do anything to help accommodate the situation and my mother couldn’t stay any longer to further discuss it with her. I called Jennifer immediately and she promised the card wouldn’t be charged, although she refused to offer any apology. Turns out the card was charged. I will be going above Jennifer’s head as I continue to figure out the best course of action. BE WARNED IF...
