Overall the room was nice, location perfect and service was meh. We had an ant infestation the last night and my daughter was bit from them being in the bed. We tried to get help but I guess they close the front office and there’s only and elderly security man who did his best to help us. He couldn’t get in touch with housekeeping to get us new linens so she could change beds or find any spray. It was a rough last night ti say the least. We checked out and informed the front desk and they just said ok and their demeanor or response seemed like they thought we were making it up. Other than that we would stay again and the only deterrent would be the way they handle things like this to make you feel like you matter and they value your business. We known there are things that just happen that they can’t predict or control when it comes to nature. I just hope they deal with these type of things better in the future because paying $1088 for three nights is a lot to have to not be able to do anything about the ants and stay in there the last night. SN: there was no trash left in the room because housekeepers changed it every day. We got pizza the last night and walked downstairs and saw them all over. My daughter mentioned she saw some the night before but we didn’t think it was THAT bad. Then she showed me her stomach.

I loved this resort! My family stayed in a roomy 2br condo that sleeps 8 people (in beds, no pullout sofas) with 2 full sized bathrooms that faced the ocean. CLEAN. I was expecting a bit of sand in the rooms because it's beachfront, but housekeeping was on top of it during my stay! The pool area was clean, not smelly, there were plenty of towels and sun chairs. The beach access is right there, in the pool area. I could watch my teen from my balcony and there's even a beach lifeguard! There's usually a tide pool for little guys to play in and it's not crowded at all (you get a good 20-30 ft radius to yourself). I wish there had been some sort of restaurant or hotdog stand or something on the beach, but it was cool because our kitchen had everything we needed. It's about 15 minutes to Broadway at the Beach, acceptable driving distance, and there were tons of restaurants within a 5 minute drive. The parking garage is the first couple of floors of the resort (super tight parking) and additional parking across the street. I will absolutely stay here again next year. We have visited Myrtle Beach every year for the past 9 years and this has been the cleanest and most enjoyable room we've stayed it.

So I had to take a star only because of the treatment we received during Easter breakfast from the attendant and the so called Bunny. I’m not going into details because it will take away from the positive experience. I can’t remember the guest representative’s name but her and Mrs. Jackie is what boosted my score to 4 stars. The rooms were amazing but it’s the customer service that makes a difference to me. Whether it was speaking to them on the phone or in person they both made you feel welcomed. The view from the rooms were breathtaking! But my favorite room was 704. The view was spectacular! I would definitely recommend Seaside for a quick or long getaway but as far as the breakfast, that’s going to be a hard NO for me.

The room did not sleep The promised 14 so we had one guest on the floor. We called front desk who stated they didn't have any other 4 bedroom for us and refused to give us an extra 1 bedroom unless we booked it even though we booked a room big enough, they lied about the number of people it slept. The carpets were horribly stained in every room. There was peeling paint in the window area of one room...not a little, a ton. The floor was dirty when we arrived my feet turned black just unpacking the food in the kitchen and there was no mop to use just a broom. Then when we went to lay down the first night there were dirty socks in the bed which means the linens were not changed. We called to have the beds done and were asked which one...all of them obviously. Seating was strange, a room for 14 ( ours 14) had seating for 4 in the living room and 8 in the dining room so we had people who sat on the beds away from others because of seating. The room stank like cigarettes and cigars and the front desk said...ok. thought it was non smoking. 3 bathrooms for the 4 bedrooms but 2 bathrooms were in 2 bedrooms that slept 2 people each so 10 people are expected to share the 3rd bathroom I guess?? Luckily we were will a group of family members who were fine with people going in and out of their rooms. The furniture was very heavily used. There were people smoking and drinking in the hotel hot tub. We saw 3 roaches in the pool area. The hot tub was so heavy chemically that it gave 3 people in our party burning rashes. The lazy river was cold but at least clean. Scoobys was good and staff was nice. The view and Scoobys were the best part of the hotel. No housekeeping because of covid which is fine except when you call to have trash pick up and towels exchanged they won't let you put it in the hall ( we tried and they knocked and pushed in back in the room for us to wait on someone else) so you end up in contact with them either way so why not just provide house keeping if you are coming...

We absolutely loved our stay at this resort. Booking through their website was easy and fast. When we got there for check in everything was already set up thanks to the site. Front desk was so nice and welcoming he really made us comfortable and at ease. We Just had to present ID and the card used for booking . Arriving to the room took my breath away we reserved a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom room that when we walked into it was by far the biggest room we had ever been in with every window besides one of the bedrooms having some kind of ocean view. It was very clean and kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The pools were clean and well maintained both inside and out. The beach is right there. Very family friendly it was never load or over run which is great!! I know a lot of people where there but unless you rode the elevator all day you wouldn’t know . The only things that were a minor irritation was the parking garage whom ever designed or built it forgot to raise the ceiling a little bit more and to widen the path if you have a bigger vehicle you will have to be extremely careful when driving in because the ceilings are low and everytime we had to make a turn we had to backup and pull forward just to make it and if someone is Leaving as you are entering you will have to be careful. They also have parking across the street just in case you can’t clear the ceiling and make the curves. Also the breakfast deal is a little odd you have to pay for it at the front desk to which they will give you tickets then you can go to the serving area. They can include it in the price of the room. Would have been much easier to just have people pay in the serving area. Really if those are the only things that are wrong with this resort That’s fine with me. We will be staying...

First and foremost, the staff is so kind, helpful and empathetic and probably the only reason we would consider staying at this location again because all of the issues we encountered upon our arrival were addressed and rectified to the best of their abilities. Understand that these are condos owned by different owners and as such, some owners are very proactive with upgrades and maintenance while others do only the bare minimum or what's required for rental. The owner of the condo we rented for ten nights is CLEARLY one of the latter. The appliances, furniture and furnishings were in need of replacing in many regards and we were never comfortable with sitting on the couch or chair because they were far too dirty for comfort. Upon checkin we reported the issues and the staff immediately responded, correcting as many things as possible that night and most of the other things the next morning. The worst and constantly reoccurring thing was the ongoing slamming of the doors by the adjacent units which would shake the bedroom wall, headboard and pictures, scaring and/or waking us EVERY TIME, day and night! There is no window in the one bedroom condo so us not being able to sit or use the living room furniture took away the beautiful ocean view because we had to watch TV and relax in that windowless bedroom. The BEST and brightest part of this property is the staff. I absolutely love Miss Wanda, Miss Annie, Miss Marlene, Yesica, Larry, Mike and Jimmy and without them our stay would have been horrific. If the issues we encountered upon arrival, those associated with the living room furniture/furnishings and the slamming doors were resolved, we would 100%, 5-start recommend and stay at this...
