Seascape Condo Association — Hotel in North Myrtle Beach

Do not rent unit 207 in Seascape. It is unacceptable in terms of cleanliness, maintenance and amenities, especially because of covid protocols in place by hotels , restaurants, etc.

As examples:

1. Bedsheets for master kingsize bed were queensize so fitted sheets did not cover mattress. Had to call to get king sheets. Queen sheet during night kept hitting my face, it was that short.
2. The washing machine was out or order. Had to call for maintenance to repair.
3. I moved an end table and found opened fritos bag, candy wrapper, lying under it. Unacceptable.
4. Roach in shower and livingroom.
5. Livingroom had spackling on paint walls as if someone forgot to paint? Unit needed a good paint job.
6. Mold around shower and overall bathrooms needed of a good cleaning.
7. Ceiling in kitchen had mold. Kitchen utensils, spoons, forks, knives, were just thrown into shelves. Completely disorganized. Coffee pot needs to be replaced as it had burned debris on heatplate.
8. Screen on oceanfront poach had tears in it.
9. No cabinet space for dry goods and cans. And bring soap, toilet tissues, sponges, shampoo, detergent, etc. The unit provides sparingly, or none at all.

Seascape was not the condo we rented. We were told the condo we rented had water damage so we were "upgraded" to Seascape. We had already unpacked and settled in before the above issues were discovered. Wish I could provide some positives -...

This is without a doubt the worst place I have ever stayed in North Myrtle Beach! Building is run down! Breezeway/hallways had loose outdoor carpet that made it impossible to roll the luggage carts. Not that you could get the luggage cart to your room because you had to go up or down stairs to get to your room. I must have missed the info or it wasn't included in the site description that there are stairs. It had an elevator, but it was out of service more than it was working. As for the room....holes in the wall in the livingroom, screens torn loose on the balcony, mold in bathroom shower door, couldn't even find a stopper that fit to hold water in the kitchen sink. and ROACHES!! Killed 2 during our stay! Parking is a nightmare, too! Honestly, there is nothing good I can say about this place. The entire building is in desperate need of a remodel.....dirty and dated! Apparently, the HOA doesn't care about curb appeal or handicap...

Absolutely horrible experience. Worst place we've ever stayed on an extended destination vacation.

Every appliance is from the same build date. 1982ish. Some of the other owners within this association have responded to their touristic asset by upgrading and updating their condos to ensure a great experience.

When mentioned of our issues with respect to 1" of dust piled on top of the furnace and the furnace filter being completely mangled inside its housing, the rust hole inside the microwave, the electric oven that wasn't fully usable or lacked repair - the condo management company just said "ok" upon returning the keys.

Despite the $165 cleaning fee, I wonder whats actually being cleaned when they "flip" the room. Its apparently only running a vacuum as there are no toiletries or towels or dishes to wash.
