I recently had breakfast at Plantation Pancake House in North Myrtle Beach, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I ordered the 2 egg scramble with bacon and hash browns, and everything was absolutely delicious! The eggs were scrambled to perfection—light, fluffy, and full of flavor. The bacon was crispy and cooked just right, adding a nice crunch to the meal. The hash browns were golden and crispy on the outside while being soft and tender on the inside, making for a perfect complement to the eggs and bacon. The service was exceptional. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure my coffee cup was never empty. They were quick to take my order and brought my food out promptly, even though the restaurant was quite busy. The atmosphere at Plantation Pancake House is cozy and welcoming. It has a charming, homey feel that makes you want to sit and relax while enjoying your meal. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall positive experience. One of the highlights was the genuine hospitality of the staff. They made me feel right at home and ensured that I had everything I needed. It’s clear that they take pride in providing excellent service and high-quality food. Overall, my visit to Plantation Pancake House was fantastic. The combination of delicious food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for breakfast. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the North Myrtle Beach area looking for a great meal to start their day. I can’t wait to return and try more items from their menu!

Social distancing? Not here. The only real issue i had here was lack of social distancing. No mask enforcement, no table skipping for distance, and the bus staff nearly had to bump into me to get to the table behind me. The food was great! The west coast benedict was flavorful and huge with delicious cinnamon toast to accompany. I wasnt offered any extra napkins, and they are not using disposible menus, condiments etc but overall Id rate it a good breakfast place...especially when the places up and down 17 had waits of 35 minutes or more.

Typical pancake house at the beach. Staff all wore masks, we were seated quickly (had to wear masks to our seat), and our food came out EXTREMELY quickly. Social distancing would have been better maintained if the servers took the check at the table as there was a bottleneck at the door: people were entering (and waiting) and people were waiting in line to pay. The pancakes were not exactly specialized: pecan pancakes had a few pecan pieces sparsely sprinkled on one side.

I am writing this review to say how very disappointed I am! My family and I have been visiting this location for 7yrs now and today I was different! We came in large family the male owner greeted us and laughed with us as he always does and prepared the seats where we normally sit when we visit, his wife comes up and tells him he’s seating the wrong people and he should’ve asked her first (we were there before the other family and she came from the back not knowing what was going on but being rude) so she had a nasty attitude towards us and her husband the moment we entered. The owners wife whom I’ve never really seen was there today when we had a couple of complaints about hair in the food. First my husband had a light brown hair cooked into his egg we made the server aware (server apologized) of that then when my food was brought to the table there was a black hair on my onion ring the manager came out and said she promised it wasn’t a hair on his egg it was apart of his egg and refuse to make new eggs for him then gave him back his plate( if it was part of the egg it would’ve broke easily when we pulled it). Then came over to my plate and act like she couldn’t see the black hair on my onion ring (my hair is long and blonde) while I was pointing to it and it was clear as day. She said the cook doesn’t have hair! She then took the plate claim she was going to remake them. This lady came back out talking junk put the plate on the table and as I’m investigating it’s now a bunch of lint now all over my same onion rings she brought back out she snatched the plate out my hand aggressively and get loud saying my family need to get out of her restaurant and go somewhere else to eat👀 it took me a moment to process everything that was happening. I’m like why did I complain about one single hair and you bring me back the same food now looking like you threw my food across the floor and brung it back to me with more hair all over it? Needless to say, things took a turn she attempted to put my family out of her restaurant that we have NEVER had a problem at for years until today! Threatened to call the police on us cuz we were refusing to leave while she was still talking junk! Then she tries to run up on me like she wanted to hit me while my husband was trying to get me out the door!!! We normally deal with her husband which is always a sweetheart as he was today. Im not sure what her problem was but the service we received today was totally unacceptable and she was out of order! If something is wrong with my food it’s an easy fix to just replace it as we asked! I seen some other reviews that complain about her as well so I think it’s safe to say SHE IS BAD FOR BUSINESS!!! You can’t be an owner with an attitude like that and not willing to make it right! My family is large normally 20 something of us so we’ve spent thousands of dollars there over the years! NO ONE EVER DESERVES TO BE TREATED THE WAY WE WERE TODAY! When we left all the other colored families left...

My family has been visiting this restaurant for over thirty years and was very disappointed with yesterday's visit. My daughter ordered a crabmeat omelette and it was truly very unappetizing and unpalatable. She simply could not eat and asked if she could order something else. The owner came over and told her that was the risky take when ordering from a menu and that they had overhead costs. After upsetting my daughter she told her she would charge half price . That was fine but she came back later and said she was going to take it off the bill but she had to go on and on about her expenses and she should have left well enough alone but after upsetting the majority of us sitting at the table she said, "well I am going to charge you full price". She then disappeared from the floor and we didn't see her again. We will not be back. My daughter could not eat her pancakes that came with it because she was so upset. She really needs a lesson on how to speak to her customers. On one good note, we had an excellent waitress, Layla. She was sweet and kind and a very...
