La Autentica Birria Estilo Ocotlan — Restaurant in North Township

Very pricey here it says one thing on the menu and when I got there it was 8 to 10 dollars more, they were real skimpy on the limes they gave me, I paid $35 for birria meat and they gave me two quarter size limes,I looked in my bag when I was leaving and I noticed there was only two limes so I went back and actually asked for more limes and the lady said okay but she only put cilantro in the bag, and I didn't notice that she never gave me any limes until I got home and not only that the cilantro was very dry /old,so she basically lied to me straight to my face and also how are you going to sell taco meat and not have it come with the tortillas, she says it's extra for the tortillas and we're talking about the small Street Taco tortillas that's ridiculous it's like going to a burger joint, buying a hamburger and they charge you for hamburger buns 🤬🤬😡😡the Chile was not good at all,ALL I KNOW IS THAT I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽....LESSON LEARNED...

I don’t mind that it’s a very small family owned run business but the fact that it’s cash only and their tacos are quite pricey for what you actually get, The tacos are small mediocre, and don’t offer a variety of average toppings. They don’t have a wide variety of meats to choose from. In fact, we tried all the meat tacos, and the only one that was halfway decent was the lamb. The rest of them were extremely full of fat and Grease And tasted terrible and they don’t even offer you cheese and their toppings are bare Minimal. After we purchased our Birria & Consume Tacos We seen a worker go to the garage on the side of the house and get a pail full of meat… Their food handling process is not sanitary at all And how they store and keep the meat is not sanitary neither. They need to consider adding steak, chicken and pork and Mexican rice and beans to the menu and variety of roasted poblano peppers. The cook needs to wear gloves For...

First off it's a very small establishment with no outside seating, with no indoor seating barely..... It's obviously a carryout restaurant which will only take cash but that's not why I'm leaving this review I'm leaving it because I ordered the consume and it is bland watered down had no meat in it or even small chunks, it was the saddest consume I had ever ordered in my life I highly recommend any other birria restaurant in Chicago not here in Indiana because I'm gostlin they are not doing it right that place is a front the food is bland and...
