If anyone is considering to rent this place, please read and think twice. The property’s A/C is broken. When you set up heating mode, it only blows cold wind into the room. I called the property manager once I arrived, she said there’s a space heater and made me searched everywhere to find that heater. It doesn’t exist! She said there’s no housekeeper available since it’s holiday. I have to wait till tomorrow. We suffered from the frozen night and no one contacted me the next morning. We were traveling with our 76 years old parents; the cold condition is fatal to their health. So we decided to leave. I called the manager to cancel the following day and she said Okay. After we came back home, I tried to contact the host for a refund. The following is what they replied to me: I tried to explain how to turn the "on switch" at the base of the thermostat and dial the temperature of your choice. You said you did not understand my instructions regarding the "on off switch". I offered to send our resident maintenance tech, on Thanksgiving Day, to do it for you and you refused! You chose to leave the following day. You stayed in my home! Now you want your reservation fee returned. I think NOT Mandi! There will be NO return of you reservation fee! Since my message has no response, here it is: 1. The person I called is Alisa. Not Vance W.. 2. I called 2 different numbers you left, ending in 9801 and 9574, several times, I have my call record. Alisa picked up once. I also left message here but never got responded. 3. We didn't discuss how to turn on the thermostat. I can turn it on successfully, but no hot air coming out. You asked me to find some space heaters, which doesn't exist. 4. You said there's no housekeeper due to holiday. I have to wait until Friday, leaving me in the frozen house for a night. 5. I called Alisa again Friday morning to cancel my following trip. 6. I NEVER REFUSED ANY OF YOUR HELP. 7. The price I paid is not reservation fee. It's the rent for 2 nights. You have the obligation to provide me the house that is suitable for living. And you failed. I have all the right to take my money back. If it's your home, stay there with your broken A/C, don't list it to trap visitors, let them suffer and take their money. Your poor house ruined my holiday, and you are full of lies.    Read moreI am absolutely furious and appalled by my recent stay at this place. When we arrived late in the evening, the room was in an unimaginable state of disarray. It was filthy, with dirty floors, unmade beds, and used dishes in the sink. There was no cleaning service before our arrival.
The property host's response to our complaints was absolutely outrageous. He is unreasonable and impossible, making excuses instead of taking responsibility. His disregard for guests is beyond belief.
I strongly advise against choosing this place for your stay in Yosemite. The lack of cleanliness and the terrible attitude of the property host make it an absolute nightmare. Find another place that respects its guests and maintains...
