Reserved for a (2) night stay on 8/12/24. I read some of these reviews and clearly were discussing either two different sites with the same name in different locations, however I am only discussing our experience at the International Casa located at: 5714-5720 International Boulevard, Oakland, California (were from the Town/Bay Area and there is NO Oakland, San Francisco these are both cities within California. PLEASE READ BELOW Absolutely Do Not Stay here under any circumstances. You would be more comfortable in a fiat over night with out a restroom for 12hrs. This place should be condemned and fined. My husband and I reserved this hotel for just an over night stay through priceline for $117.98. The outside of the building is sketchy at best. The janitor per him (janitor) was also guest services from the front entrance of seeming to be a family home, and he appeared allegedly to be intoxicated. Once he provided the key to a room for us to view, you walk down a path of old furniture and poop, animal, human or other. My husband unlocked and opened the door where we were greeted by big black roaches falling from the ceiling to the floor, crawling under the bed, and everywhere else. The bedding appeared to have been on the bed since the 60's without ever meeting soap and water. I had seen all this from the door as I refused to enter. I was crushed and wanted to cry. I went back an sat in the car, as my husband went and checked out another room where he unfortunately managed to step in poop at the second room. He advised to me he didn't see any roaches or other bugs but the room haven't been cleaned and the toilet was nasty. I called Priceline whom refused to refund our money back unless the International Casa agreed too as a courtesy. I called our bank and filed a claim, reserved a second room at the Raddison (Beautiful). I called Priceline again today 9/4 and got the same song and dance regarding a refund. I can only imagine what your not able to see with the naked eye at the International Casa Oakland, California. Please take my advise in full detail, if you cherish your health, physical, mental, and emotional. 0 Star Rooms 0 Star Services 0 Star Location Hotel description take it with a gran of salt. Priceline indicated that we are a VIP Gold Member ( Really). UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE NO PICTURES OF...
Read moreThat place was the worst motel I've been to. It doesn't even look like a motel, so if you're driving it get there, you might pass it (like i did) The Wi-Fi only works well for the first few rooms (The Office, 101, 102, and probably 103 but further down you go, the worst the Wi-Fi gets). In the room i was in, it didn't have curtains. It had a blanket and 2 cards stuffed in to make the blanket stay up and their blinds are tore up and should be thrown out. They have roaches there, adult roaches, baby roaches coming out the sink, and mini roaches running on the floor and probably on the bed (you'll probably start to feel itchy) there was even a dead roach in a drawer when i opened it and there was one IN MY SHOES when i woke up from a quick nap i took. That was very disgusting and disturbing. My bed in room 105 was broken and told the manager and she did nothing and told me in a VERY thick hispanic accent that maintainace will be at my door at 5pm and they never showed up. The mini refrigerator has nasty looking BROWN ice in the freezer section. The TV in room 105 (the room i was in) didn't work (even though they said it does) and it doesn't have a remote. The fellow hotel goers there are pretty loud (when i was there) and it's in a not so safe neighborhood. If you want a refund, either they won't give it to you or they're VERY difficult about giving it back. I say you should honestly go somewhere else but i also understand times are tough and you gotta do what you gotta do so if you do choose to go, be very VERY cautious and stay safe physically...
Read moreOK so let's be real... Its not the Marriott. But I will say this. " The staff are humble and down to Earth. The room wasn't in the best shape however after a little elbow grease & comet (provided upon my request) the room was exceptionally clean:) the bed was comfy & bedding was changed as regularly as I wanted. Maintenance was available within 2hrs of every request. There are NO ROACHES, NO BED BUGS, NO RATS, NO MICE! The rooms don't have carpet so they don't hold odors which is always a plus. At this point it's $30 cheaper than the weekly rate at the Islander in Hayward which I have stayed at previously and literally been 40% covered in bed bug bites. There is a gate that remains closed after hours which leaves the motel only accessible to guest who possess the key. I felt safe and the location is very convenient as far as public...
