I would give straight 5 stars, but there are a few items that need to be addressed.

The pros: location. Great staff. It's on the beach! Lots of entertainment ans shopping nearby. Walk out and on to the beach from almostanywhere on property. Clean pools and pool areas, clean beach area, clean rooms. Smelled sterile on arrival, really clean. Internet is fast when we used it, which was not much. Satellite TV, which we used once, with nice LG flat screens. There is construction next door, but was not an inconvenience at all. Still was relatively quiet. Included dishes, utensils and silverware, an oven and stove, a microwave, dishwasher and a washer / dryer. They include basic washing / cleaning materials. The patio has a great view of the pool and beach, with table and chairs. Parking is pretty secure, but open. Check in was a breeze. Full size fridge. Walk in shower and jacuzzi tub. Huge sink and bathroom area. Grille area up-front. Ample storage / cabinet space for food and provisions. Coffee maker. Plenty of seating and a big bed. The AC works great!

The cons: the buildings are dated. There are areas that are in need of maintenance, like the stair wells have minor damage, need paint, cleaning, and the elevator needs work (the buttons do not even work correctly). In our room, the shower floor tiles, cabinets joints, and trim joints are cracking, and there are many trim pieces that are abnormal. There are large gaps around the door frames. Funny, but not really... you can not open the drawer with the silverware with out opening the oven door first. The big clock in the living room doesn't work, which is OK... we're not using it. Couple of the light switches don't do anything. There are no USB combo outlets, or lamps with USB outlets, so bring your chargers.

Conclusion: even with the aforementioned short comings, this is a still a great place for a vacation home base. Solid 9/10 would recommend to my...

So, I tend to rate on a normal scale. Unless something is above average, and most things fall into the average category unless it is noticeably different, it is just average. That being said this was unit A534 and I cannot compare it to other units in the same complex as I did not see those. This unit has some things that could easily be remedied with very little expense. Moldy caulking in the shower, rusted trim in the shower and around toilet, ceiling texture in bathroom vent looked like it had water damage, bedroom blinds that barely worked and held together with curtain hook, balcony door that would not open, worn rug in main room was a trip hazard and main entrance doorstop that was more of a problem than a help (I taped it up). However, I would also say that the bed was very comfortable, but the rest of the furniture was very uncomfortable. I also understand that any rental unit in the area probably gets lots of turnover and not everyone treats rentals with kindness. Have been a landlord before and we take care to keep things nice in rentals. Perhaps that plays a factor in the state of the unit, maybe not. The other thing that I was concerned about is the building structural integrity. There are visible gaps, inches, where building A is separating from building B. There are measuring devices installed on the 5th floor by the elevator to monitor this issue but, given the collapse of the Surfside condo a few years ago, this should be considered if booking here. Not sure if I would book here again but if I did it would be in building D away from that issue. Can't beat the location as it is the last resort abutting the state park on...

First time staying here through our timeshare. Location was good and room looked nice on check in. Noticed next day housekeeping on our particular unit was lacking. Had black mold growing around the hand rail in the shower, there was a thick layer of dust covering the fridge and when we went to use the washing machine in the unit later that week, it was covered with dried soap and lint that needed cleaned before using. Questioning what else may have been overlooked when they clean. Elected not to tip housekeeping when we checked out because of it. Someone in housekeeping texted us on the phone number we used to book the reservation the day after we left asking if we had left them a tip and where it was. My wife explained why we felt they did not deserve it and had not left one. Our contact number was not for them to hand out to housekeeping begging for a tip. They fell short on basic expectations of what clean is so did not reward them. Contacted our timeshare but they have not responded after a week. We may have just got a dirty unit, so could be an isolated incident. Overall resort okay. Breezeway on east side to beach was blocked off for repairs and saw a large gap between the elevators and the main building on the east side elevators where it looked the property was settling. Location good, but resort just average for the area. Had another stay reserved in December 2025 here, but planning to cancel and go elsewhere. Cleanliness of our unit was an issue, but biggest problem was handing out our number for someone to beg for a tip they obviously did not deserve. The resort should keep private information private so will not stay...

My family and I stayed here for a week while on vacation. The outside could be dressed up and modernized more. Our first impression wasn't great driving up. It's clearly an older building that has taken some beatings over the years. The office was a little out of the way around the side of the building where you wouldn't expect to see it. We even walked all the way around the first time trying to find it. Once in, the check in process was quick and painless, and the staff was very nice and hospitable. Finally we get to our room and went in. We felt better about our stay moving forward as the room didn't match the outside. It was VERY clean and updated. We had a one bedroom with a bath and a half. The full bath had 2 sinks, a really nice jacuzzi, and the shower was HUGE, with great water pressure. The room was comfortably, and conveniently decorated. Only 2 things really that were out of place, one was the metal chairs at the dining table. They would make a ruckus of you just slid them out and in. Interestingly though we never heard anyone above us so I suppose the floors are sufficiently noise proofed. Second was the silverware drawer that couldn't be opened with out opening the oven. Neither of these things were an issue at all, and mentioning them is more to let the resort owners know there are small things they might want to rectify for more picky guests. All in all, it was a great, comfortable stay with comfortable beds, a nice view, and convenient location. The pictures are our view from the balcony, and a shot over the gulf looking down the beach with a storm coming in a sunrise backdrop.

Don't stay in the ground floor. You can't see the beach. Should have a view of the beach from any other floor. All balconies are angled somewhat toward the water. This is not a resort, it's condos all managed differently. There is a 9-5 ofc, there is no front desk, no vending or even an ice machine. Most people go to Publix, Rousse's or Wal-Mart to stock their condo kitchen. Your experience will all depend on the particular unit/ company you rent through! If you book directly through PBR website, you are NOT renting a specific unit (site shows images of various units). The 2 pools are clean, plants are pretty; exterior has recently painted (stayed 4x since 2017). Now you pay to park (like most OB condos). Elevators are a little warm (they're outside) & were missing exterior buttons on 5th floor, but looked like buttons were being installed as we left (7/11/22). There are only 5 floors, so they never take too long. Most of us drive to OB, nothing is walkable, so it's not bad that PBR is at the very west end of OB. Actually, the beach is a little less crowded here. 😅 Read reviews and get a good unit. C52 is recommended. All have large bathrooms with long counter, big shower & deep tub, stacked washer- dryer. Think all have a half bath, as well. Bedroom number & sleeping capacity will vary by unit. Some have multiple bedrooms, some have built in bunks. Like anywhere, do your research and you'll have a much less stressful vacay!
