Nothing like a Ron Jon Surf Shop. Best feeling t-shirt you'll ever have. Unfortunately I only have four shirts to choose from. And no oversized shorts. It's sad because I've worn Ron Jon since I was a kid and I would continue to wear them but unfortunately I got bigger and the clothes got smaller. Ron Jon's does not support large people. They definitely discriminate against them because of the amount of products they carry so if you're a larger person don't even bother. Already have duplicates of my four shirts that I purchased and I guess when they wear out I'll come get the same for shirts again. First time and probably last time going to a Ron Jon Surf Shop. Great selection of stuff but employees were very rude. We showed up an hour before close and when we asked for a changing room to try stuff on they acted very annoyed that we even asked. Then two employees were just waiting outside the fitting room and that just made us feel very uncomfortable and felt like they were trying to rush us out as fast as possible. They closed all the registers 20 minutes before close and with 6 customers still in the store. When they did offer to help us check out the employees rolled their eyes at each other. Here visiting on vacation. From being greeted when we walked in, to the moment we walked out, there are no words to describe the customer service here. Marissa in the fitting room was so helpful getting all the sizes we needed with a smile on her face, no matter how many times I needed different sizes. Courtney at the checkout was awesome as well! I also came in yesterday and I didn’t catch his name, he had blond hair and was younger. So sweet! I only wish we could get customer service like this in Virginia Beach!
