I was staying at this hotel due to hardship. For the price it was ok. But this is not a property for vacation. They don't even have remotes to the tvs in the room. Most of the guests live here. I mind my business go to work and come back and go to sleep. One day i came home from work and they locked my room. I asked them why. I've paid threw expedia. I was told the general manager Sara Michelle to not to extend my stay. I asked why the staff told me she wouldn't give a reason. The staff was just as puzzled as i was. Mind you its 10:30 at night and I've paid for my room. And been at work since 11 am. So the staff called her to resolve this issue. Which wasn't too long seeing how she herself is also a resident of the hotel. I asked her for her reason on not extending. She said there is no reason. I asked why i wasn't notified earlier of this situation and she said they looked for me and they couldn't find me. I told her she wouldn't find me because i work everyday. And why she didn't bother calling to discuss this matter earlier. She shrugged her shoulder and had nothing else to say but you can stay tonight but have to leave tomorrow. I told her no thanks. Expedia refunded me my money. Plus gave me a credit to stay somewhere else. The other staff is good. But the manager doesn't no how to manage. Is is not qualified for the...
Read moreThe hotel false advertises the amenities they have on their site. No gym, no hot tub, no onsite restaurant, and no gift shop. It looks like a rundown motel. The pool is nice and the staff are friendly but not worth paying $82.50 a night for little to no amenities plus the room my fiancee and I stayed in for a week had a broken bed, the toilet was wobbly and very close to breaking, and within a few days the sink got clogged. And no remotes for the TV's. After we checked out, they unauthorized a charge on my account for an extra night that we werent even there because they claimed we damaged the room, even though the room was already damaged before we stayed in it. Housekeeping is nonexistent. I did not see housekeeping come at all in our room to clean in or offer any toilet paper or fresh towels. Shouldn't be operating as a hotel because there elevators have not been expected in several months. The doors sometimes don't shut and you have to bang on them to get them to close and work. That's unsafe and could risk somebody getting suck in there. This hotel should not be operational until all the renovations are done and the elevators are thoroughly inspected. My fiancee and I will make sure we never stay at APM Suites again and will not...
Read moreHaving never been to Florida before, I had booked a room at APM Inn & Suites Orlando unsure of what to expect and, frankly, somewhat nervous to be staying alone in a foreign place with no one near I could call on if I found myself in need of anything. Rest assured, I was quickly able to shake all of worries upon walking through the doors of APM. Immediately, I felt safe and welcomed by each staff member. Their professionalism and attention to detail was maintained in exceptional way throughout my entire stay. I really felt as if my individual needs were their top priority. Furthermore, I find it necessary to give a special mention to the head of security and safety at this establishment, Clint. On multiple occasions Clint had gone above and beyond expectations and exhibited his ability to create a hospitable environment for myself and other guests. He did not only bring a sense of security to the place but managed to keep me smiling and made APM feel more like a home rather than just a hotel. Thanks to Clint, his brother (whom also works there), and the other members of staff, my stay in Orlando turned out to be a most unforgettable trip that I’d enjoy reliving. Two thumbs way up for APM....
