Dolce Vita Resort and Spa — Hotel in Orlando

There were people sleeping outside of the building. It took 2 hours to check in 4 people. During that time 3 people came to the desk to return their keys because they refused to stay in such filth. The bathrooms on the main floor were broken which didn't seem to stop anyone as they were covered in fecal matter and urine. Once we got our key (that didn't work) we were treated with a sign on the elevator that the fire system was broken and to call 911 if there's an issue . Got to our room which was badge bombers and disgusting. The toilet leaked all over the floor and the sheets were dirty. Hair and mucas all over them. There were dirty underwear on the floor in the room. Tried to call the front desk, there was no phone in the room. Kind of scary with the fire issue. There was no bar, restaurant, fitness center, ball rooms, or conference centers as advertised. There were however 200+ TV stands and multiple mattresses stacked in the lobby. Not a fire Hazzard at all I'm sure 🤦‍♀️. There were no towels in the room (not that we would have used the shower or towels). Also no remote for the TV. There was no lock on the front door and the patio door didn't shut due to lack of doorknob. It did have a chain though. At midnight people were stuck in the lobby because they had over booked their available rooms and refused to give these poor people refunds. They threw together unfinished rooms for those poor folks. We are a military family and have traveled the world.This is one of the most disgusting and unsafe hotels we've ever stayed at. We asked to get the contract info for the owners or Management group. We were told it wasn't their policy to give out that information. I contacted other AMP Inn and suites and was told the same. These people are ripping off unsuspecting guests and putting them in harm's way by reusing sheets and not have proper fire safety. They need to...

I just stayed here this past weekend for the Submission event with my boyfriend and a few friends, and we all had a great time! I can see that renovations are still ongoing, but in the meantime our room was clean & comfortable & suited our purposes just fine. The hotel has a unique vibe/design which I enjoyed, with clubs right on the premises so no need to Uber or risk drinking & driving. This was quite convenient, and the staff was all very friendly. In particular, the security guard Clint stood out as being especially awesome from the moment we first met him. While my boyfriend and I were unloading the car, he saw that we had a lot (chronic overpacker here, lol) and directed us to a kinda hidden side door closer to the elevator to make things easier on us. He even walked us there himself and assisted with our bags, and told us to have a great time and to let him know if we needed anything. Just a super friendly guy who genuinely made us feel welcome! Then at one point I accidentally left the key behind in our room while hanging out with friends in theirs next door, and got locked out. I was stressing about no one being at the front desk as it was quite late, but luckily Clint was down there locking up the front doors and came to our rescue. He had clearly been working many hours at this point (since before we even checked in), but was still just as friendly as could be. He quickly made me a replacement key, as well as making sure my friend and I both had his number to call in case of any other after- hours issues until the front desk staff returned. We enjoyed our stay, and Clint's amazing customer service was honestly a huge reason for that!...

This place is a disaster!!! I would have put zero stars if that was an option! We were there for their “Halloween party.” When we got there, no one was at the reception desk, a housekeeper or some other type of employee had to call someone on the phone to check us in, it took 4 times to get keys that worked for our room (the walk, or should I say hike, to our room and back to the desk each time was insane), and the room smelled very musty. So we thought ok it’s early Friday, it can’t stay this bad. WRONG!!! They charged my card an additional $200, when I asked about it they said it was a hold. That “hold” was taken out of my account on Oct. 29th. I have messaged several times since then and the money has still not been credited for the “hold.” The place was essentially a ghost town the ENTIRE weekend. I attached a picture of the bar where there was no one, no bartender, no manager, nothing, during a time that they were posting on Facebook to come join the party. (I also attached their Facebook post and a picture of their pool during a “pool party.” That we were also the only ones at.) We were literally the only two souls in the “bar.” I believe we may have seen one other couple the whole weekend and they left and went to another club called Secrets (a 30 minute drive). DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY. We flew down for a nice weekend as a couple and wasted so much money. We could have stayed home and sat around our kitchen island alone, had more fun, and saved a ton of money. We will never return...
