Not Hilton Honors consistent..
Looks exactly as pictured online. Upon arrival youâre forced to sign a paper saying you will not smoke, the hotel has quiet hours, no parties or confetti, and to watch your children. Very âdiverseâ to say the least. The pool is not openly accessible due to âsecurityâ reasons which had me and my daughters off guard as the front desk didnât elaborate on what the safety concerns were. Used pool once only bc it wasn't clean and had lots of synthetic braiding hair in it. Over 6 police came on our floor the second night of our stay looking for someone. Another guest asked the front desk what it was about and she had no clue. When the guest asked the cops he said they came to view the police. Again very âdiverseâ. Stayed for about two weeks, overall demographics are very diverse as if the hotel accommodates displaced, halfway house residents (saw a guy with an ankle bracelet), or special needs residents in bulk at times. No discrimination just advising of my experience. Walls are beyond thin & a ton of noise from upstairs can be heard which raises concerns of a horrible insulation and clearly quickly built unit. Employees are great for the most part, but thereâs small disconnects between the manager and the other front desk workers. Housekeepers are very pleasant. Parking is great. Breakfast is cool. Location is convenient to a lot of food places and stores. Got charged 3 times for a $15 room service charge that the manager assured had been paid and she rectified. Head manager Dalila told me at 7:42 PM something different than front desk girl with the red hair and advised if we left we would still be charged for the night and that it would affect my Hilton Honors rewards. On my final day at check out Joy told us late check out was 11:30 AM. We were still loading stuff in the car, out the room at 11:30AM and my minor child heard Joy tell the housekeeper âthey were supposed to have been goneâ. I didnât find out that she said that to my girls until after I thanked her for her competency in removing the already paid $15 fee for the 3rd time when I asked for a copy of my folio and thanked her for upholding the pin she had on her shirt that said, âmy pleasureâ.
Is an informal extended stay and they will book your room if you are still in it. They told me they had a lacrosse team coming in and my room was sold with no option to extend.
Although I've checked out my stays and points have not updated from the 10 day stay.
The vision of the location is amazing. The staff for the most part is amazing. Corporate needs to come in and assure the management and front desk are on the same page, understand the customer is always right, and assure that the manager sticks to policy instead of waffling through what she feels in that moment. Specifically to customers who are Hilton Honors members. I wouldâve stayed longer but manager being there at 8pm at night in jeans, house shoes and giving a Dr. Jekyl/Mr. Hyde response and calling the room back to back left a disconnect with me as she was abrupt and inconsistent.
Weekend front desk Jennifer was beyond amazing and consistent in the Hilton mission/experience Iâve had over the times Iâve used my Hilton Honors experience/stay.
Overall good experience give it take a few âsafetyâ hiccups by management, pool needing cleaning, and employees not being on the same page multiple times. Loved learning spanish with the amazing housekeeping and kitchen staff.
Probably would only return if there were no other options in that area while visiting. I can see how all of the reviews posted before me collectively good and bad...
Read moreI do not recommend this hotel. . Upon entry, there were no bell hop carts. . They offer disinfectant wipes at the hotel entry and by the front desk. I forgot my Clorox wipes and was hoping to wipe everything down in our room. That didn't happen because they were all empty the entire stay despite me mentioning it to the manager. . We stayed on the 4th floor (Room 426). First, the walls were paper thin. You could hear people laughing and talking and their TV sounded like it was in our room. The room pillows were thin and I had to request more for comfort. . There was apparently a child's birthday party being held across the hall from us. I first spotted the group coming out of the pool area and had no idea that those fifty leven chirren would be in the room across from us. I guess it's a thing now where people book these hotel rooms for their kid's birthdays, because there's a pool for their kids and guests to go to. . All night we heard them. It was like an adolescent After Party. At 11pm there were people in the hall talking [loudly]. They were standing in front of our door to pick their kids up from the party. It was like they were waiting in line at a checking cashing place to pay their BGE bill. The host came to the door like she was on her front porch waving goodbye to guests leaving in cars as their kids were handed off to them. . On the second day, two other random people were running up and down the hall loudly and cursing. . The front desk clerk was assisting someone but was waiting on a lady while she was on her phone discussing room availability. Several moments passed while this lady was on her call. I felt the attendant could have acknowledged me, but did not. It was like I wasn't standing there. . The complimentary breakfast they serve in the early a.m. was hugely disappointing. If I didn't have the Home2Suites in Charleston, SC to compare to maybe I could have tried to overlook this insult of a breakfast. However, I could not. . The one in Charleston had glass plates, glass cups and silverware. They had sausage, pancakes, waffles, fresh fruit, an assortment of breakfast sandwiches, an abundance of pastries and food. They had two separate food sections adjacent to one another. They even had a woman who prepared your waffles and omelets for you. . Here you had to make your own mini waffles using these sminy cups to pour the batter. There were no trays to take your food up. I asked for some and the girl only had 2. I wound up giving one to an older lady. There was a small selection of sandwiches. The fruit looked busted. I had to ask for some fresh looking bananas. They provided paper plates and plastic cutlery. The entire breakfast felt like an afterthought and was tacky and cheap. I feel these breakfasts should be consistent across the board. It [must] be the "demographics" (side eye) that determine who gets the lavish spread. . Finally, housekeeping is upon request only. Please be aware. . Overall, I won't be returning to...
Read moreI would suggest that for the amount that you pay weekly, your money would be better spent someplace else.
First, I want to start with the aesthetic. Everything looks nice. At least in the lobby. Exactly what you would expect for a hotel that charges almost $1,500 per week. They do serve breakfast and the hours are pretty decent. Itâs normally the same thingâ your general around the mill breakfast items.
Past that, this location is a NIGHTMARE. Youâll receive conflicting information about literally everything. And if you file a complaint, the manager, Trey, will verbally assault you and be nasty.
Good luck getting a refund too. She disapproves all requests made from corporate even with the complaint issues being founded.
The sanitation was non-existent. Every other day, you can say something to multiple staff members and itâs normally just, âIâm sorryâ Iâll put a note inâ. It kind of sucks when you pay for two beds and can only use one or you never have your toilet paper replenished. The floors are filthy. When you bring it up, the response is always conflicting and youâre basically told to get over it or my personal favorite, âLetâs not be dramaticâ.
Trey literally put her hands on another employee right in front of me when I attempted to ask the employee whether what was being asked was logical and made sense. Her response was âI am the manager and youâre not answering that. Donât speak to herâ. Imagine informing a manager that you donât have rags and towels to wash up multiple times per week .. as a female and youâre staying in a hotel for approximately one (1) month. When you tell the manager about that, you are told youâre being dramatic. It sucks because if it was an isolated incident, I could understand. But other patrons said the same thing about having the same issues.
When you try to reach a resolution, youâre brushed off or flat out ignored. Itâs disappointing that my child had to even endure that. When I provided the resolution that I clean my own room, I was told they couldnât provide me with the supplies but then staff wouldnât do it on their own. Shoot, when you call down to say you needed service, youâd go all day and then be told by managers that you canât expect to have a specific time for service. How about at any point during the stay without drastically breaking down or running through the halls to the front desk for basic necessities like toilet paper and rags and soap or mops and brooms because the rooms donât have them.
This location might do better with better management or closing down altogether.
I was so disappointed at my experience here BUT I understand that this isnât reflective of every Hilton property so hopefully, IF or WHEN I try again, my experience...
