Have been enjoying this spot since it's opening (staff/service is particularly wonderful), but put it to the REAL test last month - ordered carryout for visiting family, including 3 kids. Even my "not really into Thai" guests stuffed themselves happily. Their curries are a no-brainer - fantastic combo of freshness and flavor. I took a chance on the Pineapple fried rice and it's being added to the rotation as everyone enjoyed it. The all-around standout was Pad See Iew with beef. Even the youngest of the kids went back for more.
I judge ethnic restaurants on how well they do basics. For Thai, my measures are Pad Thai, Tom Ka and Sticky Rice. Top marks all around for those, too.
A small suggestion. I'm a person who would prefer to be served (slightly) undercooked protein than overcooked, but I understand restaurants have guidelines. For my taste, I typically request my protein here be cooked a minute less than the cook would otherwise. I don't expect you'll feel like doing that overall, but maybe consider on chicken dishes where it's most noticeable.
Otherwise, enjoy this SERIOUSLY hidden gem. Their preparations rival even the great Baltimore institution, Thai Restaurant on Greenmount. So happy to have them in our little suburban shopping center.
Edited to add: If you're on the fence about the squid, don't be. ...

Little Spice in Owings Mills is a charming spot with a lot to offer, but I’d have to agree—it leans more toward Chinese flavors than Thai cuisine, despite the name suggesting otherwise. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it’s worth noting if you’re going in expecting a purely Thai experience.
The menu offers a mix of both Thai and Chinese dishes, but the Chinese-inspired options definitely steal the show. The General Tso’s Chicken, Lo Mein, and Kung Pao dishes are flavorful and well-executed, with generous portions that make it great for sharing or taking leftovers home. The Pad Thai and Green Curry, while decent, lack the authentic depth of flavor you might find at a dedicated Thai spot.
Service is friendly and efficient, and the restaurant itself has a cozy vibe, making it a good place for casual dining. The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes ensure you get your money’s worth.
If you’re craving Chinese food with a hint of Thai influence, Little Spice is a solid choice. However, if you’re looking for authentic Thai cuisine, you might want to explore other options. It’s a great neighborhood spot for what it offers, but it’s definitely more of a Chinese...
Read moreLet me explain something I would have gave this restaurant of five. But what they did they should get a negative hundred. On the website it says when you purchase your lunch you get a complimentary appetizer and dessert. My customer and I received the confirmary appetizer but not the dessert. We ordered you dessert thinking it came with the meal. The lady informed us oh we don't offer that anymore. I said but it's on the website. She still said oh we don't offer it anymore, I said okay don't worry about it. That's $12 that we paid for dessert would have been her tip. So I didn't leave one. This morning oh this morning when I checked my bank statement I will see you extra $5.47 charge for a tip I never left. It's not about the money it's about the principal. I never left this woman a tip but you overcharge my card now I have a problem. This is the issue that I have deal on foreigners. Now I feel like I'm getting ready to be labeled as an angry black woman because I'm about to...
