Sunshine Shores Resort — Hotel in Palm Beach Shores

Sunshine Shore Resorts in Palm Beach Shores, FL is a gem. It was recommended to us more than a decade ago by friends who had discovered it several years before that, and we have been staying exclusively there once or twice a year when visiting PBS/Singer Island every year since. The apartments are very tastefully appointed and are complete with all that you need to have a wonderful vacation. We routinely stay longer than a week. The proximity to PBS main beach is great; and being able to go out and without undue effort explore the island and garden paths is also very nice. The resort is conveniently located for getting to other local beaches (including at Blue Heron Bridge) and various scuba dive boats at Riviera Beach City Marina; everything you need to clean and maintain your dive equipment, including hoses, drying lines, etc., is available. We like the optionality of being able to frequent local restaurants (by foot if desired) as well as to have meals and cook in the apartment with a nice kitchen, cookware, tableware, etc. Also, importantly, the rooms are amazingly comfortable with top notch, quiet air conditioning to be used to whatever extent desired. The wi-fi service is reliable and robust. Finally, Derek LaRosa, the owner/manager, is very accommodating, attentive, and responsive to all requests; he actually works to make your stay meet your requirements, ranging from promptly addressing normal room issues to handling packages you expect and all manner of other things. Absolutely Wonderful. Derek has been so responsive to all our needs. With us traveling, we didn't have the ability to pack beach gear. The resort has umbrellas and nice beach chairs for loan, as well as bikes. They thought of everything. Our room had water bottles waiting for us, was clean, smelled like a hotel resort, and has glorious functioning A/C that actually cools the whole place in the Florida heat.

My husband and I loved the fact that we had a true king-size bed, a full living room, and a kitchenette. It made it more homey and allowed us to have more comfort during our stay. It also gave us enough space so that we were not on top of each other.

The patio sitting area is lovely in the evening (or really anytime), and the walk to the beach, main strip, and grocery store are all under a 10 minute walk. It's a wonderful location, and we were very happy with our stay and the service from Derek.

Such a great place to stay in such a great little neighborhood! We felt safe & at home! |Derek was awesome! He gave us great recommendations for our adventures & was most accommodating whenever we called or text. |The apartment was beyond clean, I did not see a speck of dirt or grime anywhere (inside or outside). The outside garden area was such a nice place to sit & enjoy our morning coffee! The plants are beautiful surrounding the patio! |The kitchen area was equipped with the essentials and I really was excited to see a nice clean skillet for cooking. |The apartments are across the street from the beach however, you walk a few blocks down to get to the beach access. |There are restaurants within a comfortable walking distance & one place had a variety of live music nightly. |October was a beautiful time of year to visit!
