Run down, outdated and not safe. Too many problems to list. If you do not heed my warning; please don't use the elevator. It is not safe. The wall that houses the control panel is loose leaving no barrier to the elevator shaft! The room I was assigned stunk like something died in it. I cut my toe on a loose carpet tack/nail. I mentioned to the very old man who I beleive is running the show. He didn't seem concerned in the slightest. The whole motel has a very opressive feel. The owner seems only concerned with getting paid than maintainimg anything. I was told the motel is close to where I needed to get my crews to work onlybto find out that it was a 40 minute commute back and forth. I wanted to cancel so I could find a bed closer to work but was told they would not refund the room. As if they were full? No. There were only a few cars in the parking lot. Everyone that worked their seemed bothered and unhappy. Just an overall dark and oppressive feel from the people that worked their to the dreary rooms with furniture that would not worthy of donation to good will. Stained, dirty and broken. Me and my cut toe were very happy to leave the next morning. I went about my business at work when I realized I left some electronics. I returned to the motel and was greeted with the same grim and indifferent attitude. I explained my situation to old man who seemed to be " managing " motel. I was told nothing was found and I could not go to the room to look even though my locating app told me it's exact location. It was then I was told they were not returning my deposit because of a blood stain at foot of the bed. I asked to see the " 150 dollar damage " to the bed sheet and was told I could not. It was then he had the audacity to ask me for another 50 dollars! Those were some expensive sheets. This motel is struggling and I'm afraid losing. It takes alot for me to leave a negative review but stealing is where I draw the line. I was robbed. I'll be back in town with 4 crews to start a plant construction work but no one will be staying there. The stealing aside the rooms were dirty and smelled like smoke. Broken furniture. Dark and dingy. I had to ask for towels and TP. I cant speak for the free breakfast as it was on the 8th floor and did not trust the elevQ3Qator. Worst experience I have ever had at a motel. Hopefully I can save some people from being robbed. If you made this far there is a motel right next door for maybe an extra ten dollars. Had I known before could have stayed there. Clean, modern...

Unfortunately I would rate Quality Inn higher if this Hotel would have just helped us and not hurt our puppy.
If you’re a pet parent like I am; understand that the Building B, which most pet owners stay in (with their animal) has no surveillance cameras facing that direction.
So if anything were to happen to you or pet or your room no one would EVER know.
God Forbid! Someone drown in the pool or a hotel room gets broken into, or a shoot out occur.... no one would ever now, no one would ever get caught, there wouldn’t be any proof to give to the Police.
My Husband and I left our pet in the Hotel Room while we went out to grab a bite to eat, we left our fur-baby with plenty of water and food and chew toys to play with while we were away plus the “Do Not Disturb” sign outside on the Door.
When we returned to the hotel room, We found our 8 month-old Puppy limping with a swollen wrist. We only left for a few hours, and we noticed that our pups food and water bowls were completely untouched or refilled; the refrigerator in our hotel room was cracked open and freshly chewed spearmint gum was on the floor to include a crinkled up, laundry washed, piece of paper.
We have reason to believe house keeping came into the room with the intent of caring for our dog. But my have kicked him or slammed the door on his paw.
This Hotel was unable to help us at all because there were no staff members that logged entry into our Hotel Room at any time and again there are no cameras that watch over the building (Building B) that we are in. So we couldn’t even get the opportunity to see if someone came I to our room. Manager wouldn’t even bother to help us.
We had to take our pup into the vet for emergency X-rays and we have to pay the price for our innocent puppy’s health expenses and for this Quality Inn’s (South Richey)carelessness. Thanks to this Hotel our perfectly healthy puppy has a fracture Wrist and Paw.
Pet Owners be mindful of where you stay.
We won’t be coming...
Read moreWe had reserved a King Bed, but were told we had to stay in a 2 Queen because they ran out of King Bed rooms for pets. When we given our keys, the key reader on the door was dead. My wife had an event she was scheduled for and this caused her to be late. When I went to the front desk to acquire about the door, they questioned me condescendingly if I was inserting the card correctly. They followed me too the door to find it not working, and let us in manually. I was told to stay in the room and that someone will come to fix the door. I was stuck in the room for 4 hours without any assistance, and had to wait for my wife to get back. I called every hour for an update, and the staff seemed increasingly frustrated at my request for an update each time. When they were able to get someone to check the door, the battery was out and they didn't have any spares to fix it at that time. They were able to move us to a now available King Bed room. This room had exceedingly dirty floors that left dirt on our feet, and bed bugs in the bed. None of HDMI ports on the TV in both rooms worked. Then my car ended up breaking down. When I tried to ask the front desk about seeing if someone could help jump my car, they rudely told me no and walked away. Lastly, when I tried to update my info on the rental car I picked up for parking, my info was never updated with my new room. I had to explain why I have a different room. The front end has been either condescending and dismissive or just plain rude for majority of the stay. The only staff member that was friendly from the start was the maintenance person that checked the door from my first room. My wife and I had a miserable stay for the three nights, and I plan to post this review online to avoid...
