Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in Pasadena

This is a very terrible place . The first time i came it was 5 am and i got some donuts and they were cold. Im like maybe i need to co.e sooner so i came as soon as they opened i even asked if they are fresh and the woman said we just opened and i get my donits and i was colder than last ti.e . That was last mo th . I came at 6 am today for a coue donuts and it was just more frustrating cause now they have a 5 dollar limit and i dont thi k that is right especially thati feel like i am being forced to pay more for food that i can hardly afford. I work hard everyday. I want to treat my self once in a while . This place used to be my favorite place ro come to. And now its the worst. Dont come here if you want it fresh. Waited 15 minutes behind a jeep. Only to get to the window and see only one young lady dispatching both front and drive through!! I know owner knows when sales are going to be up specially when weather is going to be cooler. Almost felt like getting off and helping her but that’d make the owner richer!!! I hope this young lady gets paid for two at least every time she has to work alone! Even if employees called in last minute I hope she gets compensated extra for her effort!!! Language barrier made it difficult to order what I wanted. If the person at the window wasn't familiar with a menu item I was ordering, I'd just have to skip that order. They even seemed to be frustrated with ME as if I was wasting their time, haha so strange. In the end this location only missed out on a few bucks from me but I'm sure it adds up when every customer has to skip or compromise an order due to employee unfamiliarity with menu.
