✨Weekend escape vibes in Payson🌲🌿 Love how peaceful and green the Quality Inn is — the perfect little getaway spot 💚 #PaysonAZ #ArizonaGetaway #QualityInn #TravelArizona #HiddenGem

READ BEFORE BOOKING!!! My family, as well as six others, chose this hotel because we were in town of the Little League State Tournament. We arrived on Friday July 5th and stayed in the hotel until Tuesday July 9th. The pictures and description said that there was a pool, hot tub, laundry service, fitness center, and breakfast. All of these amenities are what we were looking for as we had the potential to stay in Payson for a week depending on our team's success. Upon check in we found out that the pool is not working via a note on the counter. The ladies at the desk snapped back that it's on the website. After much searching, we did find it discreetly placed in an area where no one would look to read. They offered to cancel our reservation and we could find a hotel elsewhere. Because we were traveling with children on the 4th of July weekend, we decided that it was better for us to just stay the night and make a decision in the morning. We decided to stay despite the pool because having made a reservation through Priceline, we knew it would be a nightmare to retrieve our money in a timely manner and we would be out of pocket for a new place. While staying, we discovered that more than the pool was out of service. The laundry room wasn't working. As families of baseball players we were looking for a place where we could do laundry on site as the uniforms get dirty. There is no note online or in the office regarding the laundry room. We were told to go to the Laundromat which then cost us $12 each time we had to use it over the course of three days. When in our room, we noticed mold on the ceiling, which is an obvious health concern especially for members of our party who are allergic to mold. The ice machines were chronically out of ice or had very little available. I was told that they were over used. I waited until early the next morning to get ice and two machines had some, but not enough to fill water jugs for the baseball games for all the families. These are industrial sized machines, two hardly worked and one didn't work at all. There were many small ticket items like the toilet paper holder falling out of the wall, the rod to the curtains being broken, and rough patches everywhere you looked, ceiling, floors, the walls outside, etc. This place needs some serious work. I brought these items up to the General Manager, April, who also manages the Comfort Inn across the street. She began defensive until I mentioned the mold. I showed her all of the pictures as well as the video attached. She thanked me for the information and attempted to dismiss me. I said that something needs to be done such as comping a room. She couldn't do that but she was willing to discount each night by $40 for everyone in our party. However, no one has seen the discount. I have to contact Priceline and tell them to contact her and then we should get the money back. Until that happens, I will not be updating this review.

Never had such a friendly experience at a hotel before. Every last staff member was extremely nice, helpful, and seemed full of joy. It was infectious. From the time I checked in, the woman at the front desk (I wanna say her name was Michelle but not 100% on that) she had me smiling simply because of her smile and positive attitude. Their breakfast was typical continental... waffles, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, eggs, sausage. And they served it until 9:30. They also gave their leftovers to my best friend to take to the job site and ended up feeding a bunch of people that otherwise wouldnt have eaten that day. The location is gorgeous. The room had a patio (which i always love) and I spent hours sitting out there watching the birds and squirrels play in the grass. The AC worked well, the TV. The wifi. All good. The shower was excellent between getting nice and hot, and having very good pressure. The room was clean and there was various kinds of soap in the bathroom, a fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker. The ice machine wasn't far, and the towels weren't as rough as most hotels. My only real complaints were small. The towel rack in my room fell down as soon as I pulled a towel off of it (which, when I let them know, they said they would address it immediately). The tvs were made to not let you use the hdmi slots. I wanted to use my roku there and couldn't because of that. Also, there were mosquitos all over in and outside of my room. Oh and the parking lot is all a one way... and my room was at the veey end of that. So i had to drive almost back to where i started to get to my room. That's it... and as I said, it's not anything major, nor is it even their fault for some of it. I stayed consecutive nights, and usually when doing so I end up getting woken up by housekeeping. That wasn't the case this time. Not even on my checkout day. They were extremely friendly when I saw them in passing, and I knew I could request for them to come in.. but I didn't and so I was never bothered by them. I'd stay there again any time.. (May even plan another trip out that way- I'm from the valley- and would definitely stay there any time id be in the area). I was just looking for something cheap and fairly clean... and not only did I find they had the lowest price around, but I hot more than I could have ever hoped for it. The drive there from the valley was really nice too. I've stayed at quality inns before and none of them came close to this level. Highly reccomend. Right down the road from tons of food spots, convenience stores/gas stations, and a Walmart. Was able to have items doordashed to me hassle free.

We arrived 4/26/24 and checked in our room at around 4pm. The front desk lady was very rude and flustered. First she could not find our reservation as we were there for the college rodeo. I had the reservation number and she would not use it to find my room because I made it online. Not sure why. My group went to dinner and I came back at around 8:30 pm and my keys would not work. I went to the front desk where there was a line 8 deep with the same front desk person. I asked the other customers if I could pass them and just get my keys rekeyed. They said OK. I then asked your front desk person if she could fix them. She then wanted my name and information and could not find my reservation. Keep in mind I have filled out a registration card for my room (112) and I was going to be there from 4/26-4/28. She then informs me that that is not the name on the room. I said well my things are in the room and need in the room. She then tells me that she had been down and inside the room earlier and thought it was the other customers clothes she was renting it to. While I am in there another customer comes in and says you rented me a room and there is a man sleeping in the bed. She became flustered and said she can only take care of one problem at a time. She then tells me she will meet me at the room. She rides her scooter down there and opens the door and begins to walk off. I ask her to go inside and check the room. I did not want to go in because the inside light did not work. She became furious and said I was giving her anxiety. I said she was giving me anxiety all I want to do is go to bed as I have a busy work day the next two days. She again asks what my last name is, I ask if I need to go back to the front desk for anything. She says no. Then at 11:30 pm she comes down and nocks on my door again. I am assuming because all the phones in the room do not work. I fumbled around to get up and some of the lights in the room do not have light bulbs not sure why. I get to the door and see her riding off on her scooter. I send son up to the front desk to find out what they needed and she said she needed our last name again. She could not find a registration card. I am very dissmayed at the way we were treated at your hotel the service at your front desk was awful and the rooms were the same. Also when we checked in I was never told the rooms are only cleaned every THIRD DAY!!!!! When I returned from work the next day expecting a clean room. My garbage cans where full and I did not have any clean towel. Because the phones don't work I had to walk up to the front desk and that is when I was told they only clean rooms when you stay over 3 days. All in all I had a horrible experience at your hotel. I cannot believe it is a Quality Inn. I think you can do better than this. Sad that this use to be a nice hotel and I will not tell anyone else...
