I normally would not pick Thai food as my first choice for dinner. My friend who is Vegan suggested the Thai Cafe next to Bashas and boy am I glad she did. I had the Cashew Chicken she had the Jungle ??? both dishes were excellent. Our waiter Bradley was very attentive, but not smothering. 5stars all the way. I will definitely be considering Thai Cafe as a top choice in future dinner plans. Blessings, John

4/14/19 Sat. Update I was so impressed with the Cashew Chicken I had on Friday that I went with another friend on Sunday and had it again. He chose the same dish and was pleasantly surprised. Sorry forgot phone so no pics. Blessings, John

4/19/19 Friday Update May be boring too you, yes you guessed it. I had the Cashew Chicken again absolutely DELICIOUS!!! My friend had. ??? (Forgot name) Bradly waited on is again, he is awesome. I also recommend the Jasmine Tea. We sat in the other dining room which was also nice. I checked out the bathrooms both are wheelchair accessible and there is wheelchair accessible parking right in front. Blessings, John

Update Tues 4/30/19 Well another delicious meal at Thai Cafe. You guessed it Cashew Chicken, I just love this meal. It normally comes breaded. I usually have it unbreaded. So tonight my friend and I had it breaded for a change. Loved it. Tyson was our waiter very attentive. He has been there only 2 weeks, I think he's going too make it. Thanks Tyson for a great experience. Blessings, John

We stayed here on 2/20. At first it seemed like a very good choice. The owner gave me a discount for cash and the room was clean and modern, the bed comfy and we slept well. The next morning at 9am or so l ventured out for a few quick errands and my lovely wife waited at the room. This is where our stay turned ugly. There was a quick knock on the door and opened without any verbal announcement, a male housekeeper opened the door and entered the room! It happened so fast my wife had only a second to grab her handgun and find cover! This fool risked his life by entering that room unannounced! He closed the door and left. I returned to the room minutes later to find my wife shaken from the intrusion. I caught the housekeeper in another room and confronted him about his behavior. All he could say was "no English, office". I confronted the owner, l explained he has no right to enter my room unannounced and BEFORE checkout! This behaviour is beyond unacceptable from anyone! They did nothing to compensate us for the intrusion of privacy or apologize. Never will we stay at this location again and hope this serves as a warning to others about their lack of concern and your privacy. A formal complaint will be sent to Motel 6 Corporate alerting them of this situation. Dont leave the light on for us, we wont be stopping at Motel 6...

Really happy to find this truly authentic and delicious Thai restaurant in the middle of Payson. Probably the only Thai restaurant in Payson. Prices were right, the staff were super sweet and awesome, the food was very delicious and authentic, and the restaurant was really cute and quaint. Food came out prompt!

Surprised to see Teriyaki (Japanese) and orange chicken on the menu. But I guess due to the fact that there is not a lot of Asian restaurants in the area, they would be catering to anyone who wanted some Asian bites and not necessarily Thai. Nonetheless, staffed By Thai people, they know what they're doing when it comes to true authentic Thai food. Overheard some other customers out of another table assuming that fried rice came with their meals. No, this is not a Chinese restaurant - although orange chicken is offered. This is a Thai restaurant. Thai food is already savory, spicy and tasty which is why plain rice is usually offered. Thai food does offer fried rice, but it's usually as a main dish.

I would love to come back to this restaurant time and time again whenever I am coming through Payson, this is definitely my favorite restaurant in the area! 👍😊

The lunch special is awesome, and includes soup or salad and a drink. The peanut dressing that comes with the salad is...

Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - the food was great! Do note that this is not the "usual" Thai flavor as it seems like they had more Northern Thai influence which is more similar to Burmese food. Basil Fried Rice with pork at spicy level 2. This dish was super generous with the bell peppers which gave a nice refreshing bite. The rice is a bit more oily and salty but was very reminiscent of my SO's childhood food especially with the basil chili oil mixed with the rice. Gaeng Deang (Red Curry) with pork at spicy level 2. Heavy coconut cream flavor but was quite spicy at level 2! The pork was a bit dry but the curry/soup was wonderful and we could just drink the whole thing if it wasn't so heavy Ambience: 4/5 - decoration seems thrown together with different Asian items that didn't seem cohesive. Store seems very clean but did smell of cleaning products and herb/citrus combination Service: 5/5 - came around 7:30 PM on a Sunday night so the store was fairly empty. The waitress was super friendly and smiley! Even though her English wasn't the best, she was very attentive and checked up on us a few times to make sure we enjoyed the food and had everything we needed. Value for price: 5/5 - delicious food and friendly service!

We were at Payson on our way to strawberry and had to wait for a while as our Tesla had to be charged. We got in the mood for some Thai food and noticed that there was a Thai restaurant in the same complex right by Basha’s. Found this restaurant and couldn’t be happier. Really good good and decent portion size for lunch specials. The cashew nut curry with tofu and veggies I ordered tasted really good which came in with fresh salad. They ran out of the wontons so offered us spring rolls instead. Definitely returning whenever I’m in the area and craving for some good Thai food. There is ample parking around and tends to be crowded around lunch and dinner time.
