Sweet Country Charm Fudge & Gifts — Restaurant in Payson

Out of all the stores in this plaza, this one attracted my eyes. I just knew I wanted to step in after seeing the cute exterior decor. Once you are in, on your right, there are a la carte candies that you can put into a bag and I believe it was something like $2.50 for a quarter pound. There was a lot to choose from and the majority of it was old-fashioned candy and what I was really excited to see is they also have a huge variety of salt water taffy. They even had weird flavors like pickle taffy. To the left by the cashier's register, there is Italian gelato and fudge. If you like sweets then this will be your paradise. Some of the taffy was a little bit dry at first bite, but it still tasted decent once you started chewing.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is such a cute little fudge shop! It smelled amazing when we walked in and had such an inviting atmosphere. The fudge looked delicious, and there was a great variety of chocolates and old-school candies. We picked up some Cow Tales and a couple of candy bars.

Just a heads-up — we were accidentally overcharged by about $7.25. Our total should’ve been around $6.50, but it rang up as $13.75. Thankfully, the woman working was very nice, quickly fixed the issue, and gave me the difference back in cash. She mentioned there’s a known issue with their tablet system. It almost seemed like she knew what I came back for.

We came in today on our ride back down into Phoenix and of course we had to stop. I wish we would have gotten the name of the wonderful owner. She is the absolute sweetest woman in the world. She kinda reminded me of my grandma, the she talked about her fudge. It was so busy today and she was all by herself kicking butt. Treated each person like an old friend.
