This is by far the worst so called "hotel" I've ever seen in my life. I booked it on Expedia because it was a decent price just to find out it's the filthiest most ghetto hotel ever. In my Uber on the way to this hotel I was informed that there was a shooting by one of the people staying in the hotel. Killed 2-3 people and threw a bomb at the restaurant right in front. Watch it on YouTube. When I found that out I asked the front desk if I can cancel but due to my reservation & check in time I couldn't. I decided to just give it a shot so l entered my hotel room just to be even more disgusted. Red and brown stains all over the beds and walls with torn walls. It's in a sketchy neighborhood as well. I called Expedia in a panic to help me switch hotels immediately because there's no way I was staying here especially as a girl. Expedia quickly helped me switch hotels but when I asked for a refund for this stupid nasty hotel, the hotel manager denied multiple times. This is the actual worst and I hope this hotel closes. Please don't stay here no matter the price. ITS NOT WORTH YOUR LIFE OR TO GET A DISEASE FROM THESE BEDS. The news should come here and show the world how nasty this hotel is. I don't think anyone in their right mind would be okay paying for this. Hotel manager would you sleep in this bed?

Decent hotel for the price. But, that's about it. The included breakfast was above average and actually what we've found at more pricier hotels. They -are- in the middle of remodeling. So, perhaps we will stay again after the remodeling is done. We did stay in one of their remodeled rooms. It was obvious the room wasn't remodeled by a contractor. The showerhead was unfinished, one wall appeared to have missed out on the remodeling, and the toilet had an ice bucket to catch dripping water from a bad connection, amongst other issues. (See pictures.) However, I do give the location Owner kudos for the valiant effort in trying to improve their hotel. Please see remodeling pictures of the downstairs hall that was in process during our stay. (NOTE: Our reviews are purposely delayed to maintain some sort of anonymity so a true review may be given. Remodeling may be completed at the time this review is actually posted.) The staff were great! They were courteous when we checked in late at night. They helped us right away when the battery to the lock on our door had died and we couldn't get into the room the next morning. We didn't feel unsafe at any time. -- Good price. Should be adquate lodging compared to price after remodeling.

Came in after a long drive from Denver was immediately greeted with a completely full parking lot which took about 20 minutes to solve after we found out waffle house employees were also using the spaces, we then were met with an empty front desk and had to wait 10 minutes for help with our already booked room, then we were informed that the breakfast is no longer being served due to some excuse to save money. Apon entering the room we walked into a 100 degree room with flies and gnats flying around, a soiled chair, a chair that falls over if you slightly lean back, sandpaper bedsheets, and a vile looking rubber glove. Avoid this place all together chances are a seedy motel will be better and cheaper Update: after doing a bit more of moving my bags from the car to the room I noticed that there were about 2 hookers using this as a base of operations, take that as a selling point or a reason to avoid

I have stayed at this hotel easily 30+ times in the last few years and when i checked in @3am in the middle of the night i was super happy to see the Front Desk Staff by the name of Tyler working here again. We stayed at this hotel for the 1st time almost 2 years ago before covid and he was an absolute pleasure during check in, breakfast and any time of the night i needed his help with our tv,ac or new towels. We specifically kept coming back to this hotel the last few years due to his customer service being above & beyond the other gentleman who is there only 2 days a week. Tyler always has a smile on his face and i have never once seen him in a bad mood or not willing to accommodate me or any other guest no matter what time of night it is. I have recommended multiple family members and truck drivers and he treats them all with the same respect and hospitality that he has always showed me and my family while staying here. We used to stay elsewhere and now that this staff member is back we have stopped staying there and have been staying here almost 4x a month again and only check in with him over nights. Breakfast is good, hot waffles cereal yogurt and bread assortments are okay, decent part of town and not many homeless people or sketchy guests roaming around during the night or day. They have recently painted the whole hotel and the restrooms in each room all got recently renovated and when speaking with management they mentioned more upgrades being the carpet and ac will hopefully be fixed during non busy season coming up! Unfortunately just like every other hotel the covid curse is still wearing off on tons of privately owned hotels but they are not. Thats why the owners, the managers and all the staff are like family from every time i have been in to speak with them. Housekeepers have been working there FOREVER and are very nice, trustworthy and willing to help at anytime during the day when they are working and not busy cleaning rooms. Don't believe all the bad reviews you see this place is easily the best bargain for your buck on this side of town unless you are willing to pay 100$ plus a night this hotel sticks up to its pricing and FREE coffee, juice 24-7 in lobby.. Don't trust all the bad reviews!! This place is amazing! Thanks again for always taking care of us everytime we come in to Days Inn DV aswell as all the people we have recommended because they have not let any of us down yet. If you have a problem you just need to speak up and the staff or managers are MORE then willing to help to keep you coming back like they have us all this time!Happy Holidays Days inn Staff and Owners! You are doing well and look forward to staying with you all...

Was not impressed by this place at all, when I got there late at night after traveling an 8 hour day from picking my son up from the Air Force to bring him home for a month, we were so tired and it started to rain we had three hotels to choose from unfortunately we chose this one upon entering the hotel The Man Behind the Counter was so flustered and frustrated I don't even think he could see past his nose to see I was even standing there however when I got his attention and told him that we would be needing a room for the night he quickly told me the rate which was $89 plus tax and on the app it it said 72 a night when I explain that to him he started to Flap his arms in the air and say he could not accept anything less than $89 plus tax so I went to hand him cash then he flapped his arms again stating that he doesn't accept cash it can only be a credit card so I handed him a credit card he slammed it through and proceeded to hand me a hotel Key as I sign the paperwork and walked away went upstairs so very tired got to my room which took me four times to open the door maybe that was my fault from being tired however when I opened the room there were empty food cartons trash thrown on the floor towels all over the place apparently the room did not get clean from the night before so I backed out and cleaned my hands with hand sanitizer and went back step downstairs where I met the clerk at the counter again again he was very hateful flapped his arm said it wasn't his fault and gave me another room when I got to the second room to air conditioner did not work nor did anything else as the lights were very dim I don't know if they're doing that to save electricity but so be it from being so exhausted I went to my car got a blanket from my car wrapped up in that laid down and went to sleep when I woke up the next day and I found out they were no longer serving breakfast overcharged me in the morning attendant really had no greetings whatsoever this is not a place I would stay again even if it was the last place on Earth I think my car would be a much more comfortable environment this coming from a middle-aged mom that works two jobs just to make it go figure not a nice...

If could leave no stars I would of. Me and girlfriend stayed here almost 3 weeks last year and loved it. Went to stay again and from the moment the obese front desk person opened his mouth it was horrible. According to him you book the smoking room or junkie/druggie room as he put it. Exact words "junkie/druggie room... Smoking room same thing." Well although I found that to be pretty offensive it didn't bother me being I've never shot a drug in my life. And by the looks of him if you could shoot up cheeseburgers he would be. Anyways I had booked 2 nights and total was $124 and some change and then was going to need a security deposit which I was aware of and had. So total of 184 and change. Went to run my card and for some reason wasn't going through. So after trying to work something out with no success we went to a motel 6 and got the room. At this point I was able to log on to my account and find out why the transaction was not going through. Come to find out they had already taken a $64 pre-authorization fee which the manager said himself today when I went in to try and resolve the matter was the security deposit. Along with telling him how his employee was treating me from the start, his only response was I'll have to talk to him. I asked 2 or 3 more questions getting the same response but each time him getting more annoyed and aggressive in tone. I responded no need to get upset or be rude as I had never raised my voice or made any durogatory statements. So when I realized was getting no where with him stepped outside to contact cooperate which the food junkie had said there was no corporate office the night before when asked about it. When my girlfriend went in to ask if he could call the guy down to the lobby to talk to him like he said he would need to do, which shouldn't of been harder beings he lives there. He responded with we need to leave the property. So know we are 1/2 mile down the road at extended stay for $12 cheaper where you have a kitchenette. Just go Priceline express deals and the only 2 star hotel in deer valley is the extended stay is always $10-$20...
