Subway with a drive thru. Open all the time.
It's not especially complicated, just roll up and audibly walk them through building your sandwich, salad or wrap. It doesn't overdeliver on expectations. However, it is absolutely vital when the SCREAMING NEED for, like... SUBS is upon you.
Really though the folks have always been fast, courteous and professional. I've been coming here for about 4 years now and never had a complaint.
Frankly, Surviving the plague would not be as comfortable without this. It has all the common elements of your standard subway restaurant, but it's got a drive thru making it vastly superior. And fast.
Also it's open 24 hours making it available when nothing else is there for you. I've never dined in, but it has a decent parking lot, lots of windows discouraging vampire attacks and I can't stress enough how cool the drive thru is.
The neighborhood is weird with suspicious rv lots, creepy strip clubs, crusty 24hr diners and multiple non-chain gas stations that look like they hosted the grisly last stands of horrific zombie attacks and nobody bother hosing them down. It's a super creepy area at night, don't leave the car.

Great people of the Phoenix Metro Area! One of the best kept secrets in the valley... this subway is not only open 24 hours a day (unheard of) but it also has a drive thru!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can't beat that!! The food is always fresh and the customer service is excellent. Did I mention they are OPEN 24 HOURS A DAY WITH A DRIVE THRU???? LOL That is flipping AWESOME!! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I never wrote a review about this place because then everyone will know and it will always be crowded! LOL
Important note because the people who do work there (well the night shift people I'm used to dealing with) are AWESOME!! They always provide excellent customer service... so here is the deal... when you pull into the Drive Thru... take your time in ordering your sandwich.. they will truly appreciate that. Just pretend you are literally standing online in a Subway. First tell them what you want... "6 inch meatball parm on white bread" ... then pause! They are getting it together.. If you jump ahead it's really not fair to them. They will ask you what kind of cheese, if you want it toasted or not, and then what veggies you want. Went thru the drive thru to get 3 sandwiches. A tosted blt, a hot Italian sandwich, and a small kids turkey sandwich the bread for the blt wasn't toasted it was stale and crumbling apart. The kids sandwich had 2 small pieces of turkey and no cheese like I had asked for 8 dollars. And the Italian sandwich was stale as well. After driving back and asking to be refunded or have new sandwiches made the girls working said there was nothing they could do because they are minors and there was no manager around. And instead of just making new sandwiches they called the cops on me. They gave me 3 terrible sandwiches for 30 dollars and couldn't handle a normal complaint. They took my receipt and wouldn't give it back after they threw the food away. So I left with no sandwiches or a refund. This subway is absolute trash from the quality of the food to the quality of the workers working there. This happened at 6:50pm on 6/6/25. Both girls should be fired for not knowing how to deal with a customer with a complaint. Compleatly unprofessional and I'm actually appalled that they would leave 2 minors un attended to run a store by themselves. Shame on...
