Let me introduce myself. I'm Bob from Ireland and I just want to say Thank you!

Thank you, for your creations and innovations in Edged masterpieces!. You and your team produce, in my humble opinion, the best knives that money can buy. We the consumer are not just buying a knife, we are joining a community of likeminded people. They say.... you get what you pay for. With your knives that is an understatement. I don't have to tell you that. One literally needs to hold one to really appreciate the love and effort and epic quality that you guys produce. It is worth more than the money we pay for it.

In Ireland, Medford knives are, relatively, unknown. Nobody knows much about your brand..

I bought a Medford Praetorian clone about a year or so ago. At the time I never knew it was a clone as I'd never seen your design before. I was so delighted with its bulk and beautiful geometry that I had to find out who made them, All I had to go by was the 'M' on the blade. Well it took me a while going through searches of images and finally saw a 'Medford' knife. Armed with that I when onto YouTube and came across your video about clones.....

I was devastated that what I had bought was a fake. It went into the bin immediately. Gone!. I felt really bad because as good as I thought it was, I now looked at it in a very different light. In fact unreliable and couldn’t hold an edge. I binned it. Why have a clone when you can have the real meat!.

Fast forward to today, and I had saved enough to buy two of your creations. I am the very very very proud owner of a Preatorian Ti (Drop-point) and a SeaWolf large.

My real point to all of this is to say that, if I hadn't bought a (did not know) fake and liked it’s design so much, I would never have found your company and your YouTube video on clones.

I really have to laugh at myself. I thought the clone was such a wonderfully designed knife. At €14 it was a bargain. NOT! Your knives are more expensive but waaay worth it. Built to outlive its owner!.

Basically a knife one can trust will work flawlessly every time and in I imagine the harshest of conditions. Someone said to me, built for War! 

Medford knife and tool . American made knives , for American made knife lovers ! The designs of the Medford knife attract those like myself who like overbuilt knives . Here is my interactions with Medford knives . I have bought Medfords both new from authorized dealers and on the secondary market . I have emailed the shop and always gotten quick responses from either Samantha W. or Amy Medford. Always professionally and helpful . When Greg Medford say he will service the Medford knives for life, he means it . They always keep you well updated on the progress of your knife when in for service . I have sent a few knives back for service . One for some lock stick and a few for customization. For this review I will concentrate on the latest . I sent 2 Praetorian G in for customization. I had requested that they replace the show side scale on the G10 model of praetorian with a titanium. I left the color choice up to Amy Medford . I figured what ever looked good she would know since she handles so many of these knives . ( love the you tube knife presentations by the way ). I sent the knives in and paid the required cost . And waited . The turn around was not very long . Amy got the knives done and returned to me in a short time about one month from the time I shipped it to them to the time I got the knives back in my hand . I have included a few pics of these G2 to titanium Praetorian conversions . The customer service at Medford knife and tool is top notch 10 out of 10 . The workmanship speaks for itself . These knives have a smooth action. The replacement showside scales are phenomenal. I was blown away with the Tum Timascus (L) one with a Tanto blade . The shipping well packaged , fast and required signature. So I felt secure that my knives were safe not gonna get lost or damaged . To summarize, Medford Knife a tool offers many varieties of knife styles to fit any taste . From the chunky Praetorian-Ti to the much smaller gentleman Jack. Quality knives and service along American craftsmanship is what it is all about at this...

I just walked out of the Medford Knife and tool factory with a huge smile on my faces and a new ‘On Belay’ custom knife to add to my collection.

I collect knives, and I when I travel, I try to find a new knife from the area as a souvenir. I happened to be in Scottsdale, Arizona today. A Google search for ‘knife makers near me’ brought up Medford knives and tools. I recognized the name and Google maps told me it was only about 35 minutes from the hotel. I love a good adventure and so on a whim, I called the number to find out if they had any knives for sale. The receptionist was very helpful. She told me that this was the factory, but that if I came in, they would have some knives for me to look at.

I grabbed an Uber and about 40 minutes later, I arrived at the factory. The receptionist had me sit in the waiting room while she went in the back to get someone show me what they had for sale. I was very pleasantly surprised when Greg Medford came through the door and offered to show me around the factory floor. I spent the next 45 minutes learning about the founding of the company, how knives are made, and what makes his knives unique.

After the tour, I met Jeff, who is responsible for marketing. He showed me a collection of knives that they were getting ready to ship out to dealers, and I was able to try out different models. I chose a beautifully hand-crafted ‘On Belay’ with custom scales to purchase.

It is a solid knife that should last a life time of use. The actions is smooth and the attention to detail is exceptional. The lock-up is perfect and the fit and finish is amazing. I will be buying more of these knives for my collection. I cannot wait to get home and to show it off.
