Phoenician Residences, a Luxury Collection Residence Club, Scottsdale — Hotel in Phoenix

Went to the pool on the resort day pass. First, it looked like I was getting the final day bed but when I arrived the pool was empty. Made the best of the day with no one around and ordered food/drink. When the bill came we received an additional resort fee of $40. When we questioned the Phoenician they said we had to go through resort pass and then vice-versa. So no one took ownership of the charge and I had already paid the resort fee, so why was I charged another resort fee?!
