Clean, quiet, and accommodating staff. We've stayed here 6 times for 2 or 3 nights each time over the past 4 or 5 years in June and September and appreciate the consistent excellent service from staff and quiet clean amenities, as well as the convenient location. A complementary hot breakfast is served daily from 6-10am, and the hot items vary from day to day (biscuits & gravy, eggs & sausage, etc). Pancakes or waffles, cold boiled egs, cereals, varirty oatmeal with separate raisin and ground nut packets, variety of yogurts, seasonal fresh fruit, milks, juices, coffee, variety of teas, toast & jam & peanut butter in individually commercially sealed 1 Tablespoon packets, bagels & cream cheese, variety of muffins, are all available daily, and I may have forgotten some items. They have a large indoor pool you can swim laps in, outdoor patio for breakfast dining as well as indoors, hair dryer in the bathroom, and even a nice clean on-site washing machine and dryer for guest use only in case you need to wash something. All rooms are accessed from an interior hallway; there are no hotel rooms with any direct access to the outside. Room security comes with a swiping electronic keycard, deadbolt lock, peephole looking into the interior halkway to look at someone who may knock on your door, and something similar to a door chain to allow you open the door 1 or 2 inches to hand...
Read moreVery disappointed with this hotel. Upon arrival, we found blood stains on our sheets along with many other stains, I question whether they even changed the sheets or how they didn’t notice when they changed the bedding, it was very obvious. When we told the staff they gave us new sheets but that was it. They said they’d “leave a note…”
The hotel hallway carpet looked like it had never seen a vacuum and the hallway smelled nasty.
The pool was super gross and cloudy, you couldn’t even see the bottom of the pool. They also decided to clean it on a Saturday afternoon but didn’t give any notice. The pool guy was refilling all the chemicals and when asked if it was safe to swim he goes “uh, I’d wait a few hours”… but again there was not sign or notice. So if it is unsafe to swim, why wouldn’t you notify the guests before we almost went in with our two toddlers? A simple sign on the door would have sufficed.
The breakfast was nothing to write home about. Basic toast and bagels but we didn’t dare eat it.
We would not stay here again or recommend it to friends. The only redeeming quality was the rainbow playset they...
Read moreFirst of all their website doesn't clarify or give the option of rooms that are pet friendly... We were bummed to find out we wouldn't be able to have a whirlpool suite, but instead we would get a "pet friendly" room. I'm usually a pretty positive person but can't seem to find much good to say about this experience. As I write this it's 3 AM and I can't sleep due to the fact I have no control over the screeching - must be on it's last leg - fan that kicks on and off even though I have it off... I made the mistake of wanting to keep a drink cold, so I opened the mini fridge which caused the whole room to smell like rotten milk for an hour... The couch is dirty, floors are stained with God knows what.... Got charged for a whirlpool room even though I didn't get it.
The price is pretty hefty when compared to the overall experience and amenities.
Edit I did receive a partial refund that made this overall experience more relevant...
