Very nice hotel. It is clean, to an extent, which I will explain later. Staff is friendly, free breakfast which is always nice. They have a waffle machine, eggs/sausage/biscuits, etc… to include juices. Parking is t much of an issue although later in the day expect to park a bit away from the main entrance. Elevators are located near the main entrance. Speaking of elevators, they are quick. Not much wait time. Due to my status they did upgrade my room which was great. The room itself is very spacious and well decorated. I mentioned it was clean “for the most part”. The floor, walls, bedding, furniture, bathroom etc are clean and show no signs of being dirty, however, if you check my pictures, you will note that both A/C units are highly neglected causing mold/mildew to circulate in the air which can be an issue for some people especially those with allergies or asthma. Even the ceiling vent in the bathroom shows signs of neglect. I would advise that this gets cleaned up as soon as possible. It’s just a matter of removing the filters and rinsing them out. Another nitch that I personally dislike is the fact that the water pressure is low. I attribute that to the shower heads used. Secondly, the thermostats are motion sensor. If no motion is detected, the A/C units do not power on. In the suits, unless you’re in the kitchen area, the living room, dining area, kitchen and hallway will not receive air conditioning. The bedroom has the same thermostat but at least when you’re in there, you can wave your foot to turn it back on for who knows how long. Lots of Hilton’s have this and is may be due to a company wide mandate. Not sure but I can assure you, no one likes it when your comfort is restricted. I also received a late checkout. Usually I just ask the front desk the night prior but was told I need to call the front desk in the morning to confirm. Not a big deal but if one wanted to sleep in late, they would need to wake up to ask for the request. There are EV chargers on the property shared with neighboring hotel. I believe 3 EV chargers in total. Parking is free as well. Despite the above mention which can easily be rectified, This is a real nice hotel which I will rebook and would recommend others to...
Read moreThe hotel was very nice. Modern styling, clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. Due to Covid-19 we were unable to have their typical breakfast but they had to-go bags packed which was a nice alternative. We did not use the pool or the exercise room but both appeared clean and well appointed. There was plenty of room in the lobby for sitting and chatting. There was also an outside patio that was being used.
Our room had a separate bedroom so it allowed for the kids to be in one area (read TV) while we were able to move to the bedroom when their TV choices didn't agree with our taste, just like at home. Speaking of home, there were multiple work space areas with a nicely appointed kitchenette.
We were there for a baseball tournament. Sadly, not all parents supervise their children or themselves in situations like this. We had an early game and needed to leave to be at the field by 7. The children running up and down the hallways, knocking on our door and running, the dog barking, the children jumping from the bed to the floor in the room above ours, and the screaming prompted a call to the front desk around 10:30. Angie answered the phone and promptly asked if this call was due to noise. She must have dealt with it because things settled down not long after.
Sadly, our parting memory is stepping over vomit in the stairwell. We informed the front desk so they could have it cleaned up. This wasn't a reflection on the hotel but just not a way to start our day as we left.
We would stay here again as the hotel was very nice and clean . Hopefully, the next time we will be there with other guests that actively parent...
Read moreStill disappointed after switching rooms. This hotel is nice but definitely not worth the $160+ we paid, not worth half. We have traveled across the country from Kentucky to Washington state and back three times in the last six months and have stayed at MANY places. The hotel we stayed at before this was $90 and it was much nicer and cleaner. The first room we were given here had such a LOUD popping sound coming from the air conditioner (whether it was on or off) plus wind blowing through it making so much noise that I couldn't take it, especially for the price. Asked to change rooms (would have just left if we hadn't had no sleep in 24 hours) and were told that the 4th floor a/c units are always loud, especially with the wind. Then why give us that room?! Why not do something about it?! Why charge an insane amount of money for a whole floor of rooms knowing that they are loud and disturbing to guests?! Second room had sticky residue all over the table by the couch and for some reason, housekeeping seems to think that the dust ruffle goeson top of the top sheet and not under the mattress? Just not knowing how to make a bed being in housekeeping was odd. Don't know where all of the great reviews come from. The lobby is nice but that's really all. The rooms aren't bad, they just are not worth the price, at all. Not pleased, and especially not for the ridiculous price. Far from freeway too. There are places right on the river around here for the same price. We looked out over a convenience store. Overrated and NOT worth it. Save your money or spend it somewhere else. Don't let the positive reviews fool you as you as...
