Fleet Feet is hands down one of the best stores I’ve ever been to, and as long as this location is open, I’ll be a customer. Their commitment to outstanding service sets them apart, and every visit is a consistently great experience. The staff is beyond friendly and genuinely invested in helping each customer find the perfect fit—no matter how long it takes. We have never felt rushed or like an inconvenience, even when we’ve tried on ten different pairs of shoes in search of “the one.” One of the standout features of Fleet Feet is their foot scan technology. Rather than simply guessing based on size, they take the time to analyze the shape, arch, and movement of your feet, ensuring you’re in the right shoe for your specific needs. They never hesitate to do a new scan, even if they already have one on file. This attention to detail made all the difference for me when I recently visited in need of an emergency shoe change. I had just finished the QC Marathon and was preparing for the Chicago Marathon in a few weeks, only to realize that the shoes I wore during the QC race were causing unexpected foot pain. The associate who helped me was incredibly knowledgeable—he immediately conducted a new scan, listened to my concerns, and found the perfect replacement shoes that alleviated knee and hip pain I thought was just a normal part of running. His personal experience running the Chicago Marathon multiple times also meant he was able to offer firsthand advice and race pointers, which I truly appreciated. Fleet Feet’s dedication extends far beyond making sales. I once stopped in just to have my 14-year-old sized for new shoes so his dad could come back later to purchase them. Even though there wasn’t an immediate sale to be made, the associate still went through every step of the process—checking fit, asking the right questions, and ensuring my son would get the right shoe when he returned. The job done by Hayley was astonishing. I came in upset that I had already been to a few other store and received exactly zero help from them. When I came in (first time ever there) it was because a friend had referred me. I have (or so I thought) wise feet and was having an issue getting workout shoes that don’t blow out where my pinkie toe is. Well, after she did my foot analysis it turned out I don’t have wide feet; I had been wearing the wrong size shoe the whole time. After some questions Hayley brought me multiple pairs of shoes to try. She put them on my feet and had we walk around, explaining how the right shoes were going to help with recovery as well. She asked pointed questions about the shoes while we also talked about a mutual friend and his endeavors. We decided on one pair, she rang me up, and I was on my way. She had me in and out with a great pair of shoes at a good price in less than 20 minutes. I had wasted hours at other stores that I likely would have bought the wrong shoes had had the same issues. I will be back to Fleet Feet and I will happily hand them my money knowing what I am getting is what I need.

Your staff and technology is amazing! I almost always get my shoes here exclusively and it’s because of those two things. Lindsey was our helper and I couldn’t have asked for more. She had great suggestion on and on. Also, she was VERY personable! I could come in and get scanned for free, then buy somewhere else. I never will because of your staff like Lindsey. The experience was so good that my wife jumped n and she got new shoes as well. I never want to be without my FleetFeet :)

I arrived on Friday at the Davenport store where they were busy, around 11:30. They greeted me right away and pointed me to their selection to look around, I was assisted within 20 minutes but it went fast. I had a great experience with Moira who assessed my feet and the way I walked, and explained the findings. She directed me based on what I was looking for and what the assessment showed in several pair of shoes. I never felt rushed in the 9-10 pairs I put on but walked out with 2 pair in different brands. She provided me education about the muscles of our feet and tying shoes in a way that supports the foot better. I have had 2 knee replacements from sports injuries in the past and just figured that pain and fatigue was something I would have to learn to live with…until I got into my new kicks! I felt AMAZING and have told everyone that the right shoes are life changing. I am going back with my 78 year old Mom, my daughter who is in nurses training…anyone that will listen that getting this done and being put into a shoe that fits YOU is better than nearly anything!
