I've had to put a total of 12 maintenance requests in. Everything breaks or goes wrong one thing after the other here. They also reset the keys it feels like every month. This means if you didn't know they were reset, you'll be locked out every single time it's reset. They also won't tell you when this reset happens. You will have to get locked out, go up to the front, just for then to tell you everything was reset.
The only good thing about this place is no credit check, and it's quiet. I've had nothing but issues here. Dog poop everywhere, needles, staff at the front ignores phone calls at night, kids who don't live here like to throw rocks at cars (broke my windshield), some residents are lazy when it comes to throwing trash away, some cars are broken down, I've found children in the garage messing with my car, lots of riff raff at night, etc.
I had a chihuahua come after my two dogs a few weeks ago, and nothing was done about it. There is another tenant here that also has 2 very aggressive and large dogs that are off leash running around a lot of the time. They've had several complaints against them, and again, management hasn't done anything. New management has also not been good so far.
The only people that actually seem to do their job are the cleaning lady, an older lady I often see at night at the front, and the maintenance man. Managers are joke who don't take care of anything, and the front desk staff is generally rude if you're white.
I've lived here for around 2 years, and this place just isn't worth it. $1550 for a glorified hotel and $100 to park in the garage is steep. Considering they make it very clear they're not responsible for any damages even in the garage, it's too much. Management now only really seems to care about making sure the owners think the building is clean and handing out eviction warning notices. This place is also very unsafe. Someone banged on my window at 12am. Managers response: I'm guessing someone was trying to get you to let them in. That's extremely scary and now I know they don't care about safety here.
I would highly consider renting elsewhere. If we could've, I would've originally rented somewhere else to begin with. This place is getting worse day by day. One last thing. Don't be surprised if you get a random letter stating you're not allowed to renew your lease after not doing anything wrong, being a tenant...
Read moreI had a wonderful and refreshing stay at the WaterWalk in Plymouth!
I have a super senior dog with special needs and I was travel worn upon arrival, during a time of family grieving. I needed special accommodations for my pup that I could not find through AirBNB (non-slippery flooring, rugs, furniture height and safety). So, I had to look into hotels instead of my strong preference for a home environment while away from home. WaterWalk was EXCELLENT! It felt like an apartment rather than a hotel, and had everything I needed for cooking, in-unit laundry, and floors that had great traction for my older dog. This might seem like a little nuance, but it made the biggest difference in the world for us - as anyone with a 4-legged companion with traction issues knows! Spread the word, people, that this is a good place for "us"!
I walked into the lobby to possibly check-in and was met by Manager Lindsey, who was excellent. She responded with such kindness and thoroughness to my request to take a look at the unit to make sure it checked all of the boxes on my needs before I booked several nights. I was delighted with what I saw, but even more so I was impressed with the experience of WaterWalk because of Lindsey and also Susan and the other managers who made for a concierge and personally attentive feeling. I navigated in and out several times per day, sometimes having a question or needing a hand, and staff was always helpful and smiling. Everything was perfect and I was able to depart with clean laundry, a cooler pack with freshly cooked meals, a well rested body, and contentment that I know of such a great place when I need to book a stay in my hometown. I celebrated this with Lindsey on my way out, having gathered information about the possibility of a month-long stay in the future.
I highly recommend WaterWalk Minneapolis-Plymouth, especially giving high marks as a truly...

This place was nasty adjacent. It looks nice from the outside at night, but once you have a clear view, it's not.
We got to the room at night and noticed the floor felt sticky in areas. We decided to get a wet swiffer to see if we could 'unsticky' them...good/bad idea. These floors were so nasty that an entire small box of wet swiffer pads (lavender smells great) did not fix the problem. The swiffer pads were so disgusting that we took them to the front offlice, at which point we were met with disgust and embarrassment, and a comment from Larry, the general manager, that he would contact us. He even asked if he could keep the swiffer pads to use for training.
NARRATOR: Larry never contacted them.
On our second night there, a couple of guys rented the suite across from us and apparently enjoyed blowing their cigarette smoke under their door and into the hall; it was thick. There was also another chemical-like smell that we didn't want to guess. After reaching out to the office, we saw the desk worker walking up and down the hall with air freshener or something.
The outside was just as bad with dog crap and other garbage laying around. I am pretty sure we were the only people that picked up after our dogs, but they also didn't have any dog poo stations.
I do not recommend this place for a family, nor do I recommend this place for a business trip/week. It is definitely headed the way of the stereotypical...
