Thoresen Park — Attraction in Maple Grove

The bldg is severely outdated. The deck is somewhat wobbly and could potentially be dangerous. Charging a rental fee for the poor condition is unreasonable. A mention to anyone looking to rent the place that if possible. They should bring their own patio umbrellas as the sun gets the deck area quite hot. The kitchen is decent, and the playground is a plus. Parking lot is good but limited spaces. Just a few updates to brighten up the inside of the building would greatly improve this space. Deck stabilization...

The building is old and looks that way. Doesn't look the safest. Also it is extremely echoey. The park is currently not playable but looks decent enough. They just have signs saying it's closed right now. The parking is so small and I wouldn't personally come back, but we have classes there all this week.

There does seem to be a bit more of open space beyond the play equipment and building. Which open grass areas can be nice.

One bathroom in the building but I bet that's not available when the building...

The building was great for what we rented it for. Nice kitchen area. It is dated and old. But worked for us. What was not ok, was the trash cans were all full when we arrived, there was debris all over the floor. And when we swept, there was an acupuncture needle in the dust pan. Gross. To charge a premium rate for a dirty building is really crappy. We removed ours and the previous people’s trash. But there was no bags to replace...
