Pomona Inn Motel — Hotel in Pomona

my boyfriend and i were trying to get home to phoenix tonight but we were both too exhausted to drive. so we found what appeared to be a nice little motel for a few hours sleep. honestly so livid about this motel. i understand it was a cheap option but it was absolutely filthy. we stayed for 30 minutes and within that time frame found 6 roaches and 2 spiders (lets not forget the webs in every corner of the room and bathroom). we photographed the bathroom door (covered in dirt), the window (has that thing been touched?), the roaches, spiders, and webs themselves, the dust covering every inch of the place, and the grime and dirt all over the shower tiles. the sheets were also disgusting. there were cigarette burns covering them and the duvet. there were stains on the duvet (brown old ones that i dont care to ask about). this motel room is definitely not homey. we went to the office to request a refund and my boyfriend was very polite and understanding. the man in the office told us we'd been in the room for 30 minutes and he could not give us a refund. it wasnt until i threatened to contact his supervisor that he very rudely replied "fine i will give you the refund". so long story short, we feel disgusting, exhausted, and i had to be forceful with a motel employee who tried to argue that we'd...

#1. Owners are rude, never smile and stare at you when you drive in to park and walk into the office like you are from another planet. #2. Roaches, Roaches, Roaches! #3. Tv channels suck #4. Noise! Screaming outside at all hours of the night, upstairs there was so much banging in the floor by meth addicts there was no way to sleep #5. No visitors ever #6. I had to check out a little late because my brother had to take a family member to hospital and omg it was like I was comiting a felony, I was threatened with police and security and forced to sit outside in the heat with very bad asthma, with all of my luggage until my ride arrived and while I was waiting the manager and family made it a point to continuously walk by over and over giving dirty looks Rooms are dirty, I watched the cleaning lady work and she just sprayed lysol everywhere and rook out trash cans, no linens were ever changed at all, gross!!! If I could give zero stars I would, doesn't even deserve one star Almost every good review here is from a current resident of the hotel or from a family member of management, they are all false reviews if they are over 1...

There is a roach problem. Other reviews that highlight this issue, as well as myself are not being pedantic. Small bugs will accost you throughout the night. I used mass amounts of insect repellent during my stay but it did not fix the problem & only worked to aid my anxious mind a little during my stay. I felt sincerely unsafe on my first night, to the point of trying to leave. Other residents (who seemed more local/ regular than an average motel customer) were undeniably making their presence and intrigue known to me.
