Definitely the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. Customer service was awful and the manager onsite Jay P. was an absolute nightmare. Upon arrival I went to the front desk to check in and no one was at the front desk. Rang the ring doorbell they had attached to the window and still no one arrived. There was a woman there who was “staff” but didn’t have anything indicating that she was, trying to call for someone to come check me in and still no one came. So I left, it was sketchy, there were people coming in and out of the lobby and I didn’t feel safe. I called after I left and there was no answer but was told that they didn’t receive a call. I called Priceline, who i booked through, and they attempted to call and received no answer either. Even when I received an email saying they saw me on camera, I was still charged with a no show and a call with manager Jay P. saying i should’ve waited 2-4 more hours even tho I showed up at 5, two hours AFTER check in time. They say our feedback is valuable but I feel none of that. Just an awful place all together and the pool was green. I feel scammed and it’s unfortunate that this was a $135 loss but it’s a lesson well learned: to NEVER book thru this place again. This experience has ultimately severed any trust for ANY travelodge hotel...

So we went to go eat and came back at 5:30. The man at the desk told us that the room that we have has no working TV. And we would have to wait until after midnight to get another room, we ended up taking the room because we were tired from the fair. We get in the room and there are no towels, the bed squeeked as soon as you sat on it. Every time we would turn over, it would squeak, really loud.. and there was hair amd looked like makeup stains on the white linen. The mattress was comfortable though. The bathroom wasn't clean, there was hair in the bathtub, the fan in the bathroom was so dirty. It was so loud in the room that we barely were able to sleep because it's so close to a freeway, we thought the window was open but it wasn't. Even though the guy at the front desk was very nice and accommodating, I would not stay at this...
Read moreI tried to help a homeless person by letting them stay in my room. The manager said the room smelled and I had to check out the next morning. I was going to buy the homeless person new clothing, let them shower and help them anyway I could. Unfortunately the manager wasn't as compassionate as me. I believe in helping the less fortunate. I tried to tell him I would have my guest toss their dirty clothes away and pay for all damage to the room Unfortunately he was heartless. It makes me sad,the world we live in today. I would have paid for a new bed, whatever .I understand it's a business but I wanted to help someone in need. Like I said I would have paid extra for cleaning or a bed whatever . I travel frequently. I've had homeless people stay with me at more upscale hotels with no problem . I'm just sad because of this. Why can't people...
