I've spent the better part of the last month in different hotels. Recently I had the extreme displeasure of spending one of those nights at the Extended Stay Premier Suites North Portland. I've had unpleasant experiences in hotels, I'm 62 and I'm well aware life isn't fair nor is it always enjoyable. This location set an entire new level to unpleasantness. First, when I arrived I was beat tired. I asked if I could check in a little early. The young lady at the desk said they were booked solid and that wouldn't be an option, I'd have to wait until 3pm. No problem. Well small problem, I didn't get checked in until 3:30 pm. My understanding was they didn't have a disability room. I've been 100% disabled since 2003. I'll like have to give up driving in the not to distant future. So, at 3:30pm I was finally checked into my disability room. Only it wasn't a disability room. Least not like anyone I've ever seen. Disability rooms have most everything at a lower level some people in wheel chairs can reach them. Not this room. I was over six foot most of my life, recently during Dr appointments I noticed the nurse writing down 71", so 5 ft 10. It turns out old people shrink, who knew? But in this hotel the disability rooms, or at least the one they gave me, everything is at the regular height. The microwave was well above my head. How would anyone in a wheel chair reach that? There's no emergency alert lights for phone calls or alarms. The phone was even at an elevated level. Speaking of the phone, the one in room 107 blinks 24/7. I called down to the desk and asked what they needed and was informed "oh, yeah. That phones not working right. There's no messages." The room had not been cleaned, stuff in the refrig. Trash in the can. And agian, not disability room, the shower is absolutely not set up for a disabled person. No shower chair and no anti slip mat. Just a rock hard shower floor. I repeatedly requested a shower stool. I first asked immediately after checking in, I dont recall that young lady's name but she said theyd send one to my room. I went and layed down and took a well needed rest. Several hours later I went to the desk to ask when thst chair was coming. This time I know I spoke with Natalie. Shevwas very professional and polite. She said she'd send one as soon as she could. I returned and waited. 90 minutes I waited, no chair. So, once agian I went to the front desk, this time Natalie expressed she would go find one herself and bring it to my room. 35 minutes later Natalie arrived at my door without a chair. She said "I am so sorry but I can't find one. Maybe the morning crew knows where they are. Will that be alright?" What was I supposed to say? So I said "sure, I can wait 'til morning to shower." Truth is I really wanted to shower before bed but if she can't find one, she can't find one. And I absolutely believe she searched for it. During the evening while my own stink and stickiness tried to keep me from sleeping I was serenaded by sounds of other people arguing. Really loud there. I understand other people have things going on but when I am being robbed of precious sleep I have zero patience for anyone. I finally just gave up at 4:30am and turned on the TV. At eight I went back to the desk and yet again and, once agian I requested a shower chair. This time the polite young lady informed me "oh, I'm sorry we don't have those." "In any room?" I asked. "No, am really sorry but I've never seen one." At this point I just wanted to shower, shave and get the heck out of dodge. I returned to my room and took a shower, a glorious, overdue shower. Unfortunately with nothing keeping from slipping I falling and hand to crawl to the bed to stand back.I have no doubt I bruised a few ribs. To top all that off once as I was to leaving a very large man who obviously works there came out and started yelling obscenities at a homeless, they are EVEVRY WHERE around this place. He used every "F" word I've ever heard. I understand needing the homeless gone but no need for that talk. AVIOD THIS PROPERTY!

Thank you so much for giving me a horrible impression of your company. I’m gonna be in town for the next 3 to 4 months so I was looking at extended stay locations. I was staying overnight in a separate hotel last night and I went to get breakfast this morning and instead of putting in directions to my hotel last night because I had saved this hotel as the one I was gonna book for the next three months, I ended up driving to this one. Once I pulled up, I realized I had gone to the wrong hotel, but I really needed to use the restroom so I went inside and asked the two ladies behind the counter very politely that I’d accidentally pulled up to the wrong hotel but if they wouldn’t mind if I could use their restroom and they refused to let me use the restroom. How completely inhospitable is your company? It’s absolutely pathetic. Also looking at all your one star reviews it looks like you guys know that you’re the problem Thankfully, enough, I was able to find embassy suites in Tigard and I went ahead and booked my 75 day reservation for the next three months with them! Your rude and un hospitable staff, just cost you over nine thousand dollars!!

Update 01/28/2025 I was transferred customer service next day same rudeness I experience with hotel staff. I explained what happen she asked question was very short with me told me someone would call back 48hrs never happen I could tell from her tone, rudeness this was going nowhere. I didn’t get call it’s a week now I filed police report beliving staff in on robbing customer. This hotel is the worst no towels, then you charge Nike.com, hello wish as I’m canceling card more Nike.com purchased it was stop beware of this hotel. Ordered groceries from nearby store during 3 day stay room #131 reasons unknown it was left in room I believe cleaning staff stole credit card used at 2 online stores. Evidence how could debit card be used for without knowing my address? Staff had to give them my address in order for them to use credit card. This was confirmed by nike.com when I called to report. Rude staff didn’t care never ever will I stay there again. Thank God for instant alert!!!!

Worst stay we ever had !||||My partner and I were waiting on our house to be finished up and decided to stay at this hotel. Our check in was smooth and the older lady with the glasses was always sweet to us. The NOC shift front desk guy with long hair was also always cool. All in all, we had no problems with hotel management in anyway. We pretty much keep to ourselves, we both would go to work and then come back to our room. No problems. Up until one day when we crossed paths sadly with the Director. Young guy, a little plum, maybe 5’10, white male with black glasses. I remember him as clear as day :) Anyway, on this particular day my man was on his way back from work. We both were on the phone with each other and I was at the room waiting for him. As we were talking he tells me he is there and while walking through the lobby he is being followed down the hall by a man. Now, if you’ve stayed there before you know that there are two long halls to the left and right of the loony both leading to back doors. Our room was all the way at the end on the right hall. While he was walking down the hall this man (who later on we found out was the director) proceeded to follow my partner from the lobby all the way down to the hall. As they were talking my partner was telling me over the phone that he was going to head towards the back door to see if he was actually following him or if he was just overthinking things. He reached the back door and went out only to turn around and have the director stand in between him and the back door now. He had asked him who he was and if he stayed there and my partner replied with, “Is there something wrong? You followed me from my uber to here (back door)? Can i help you with something?” The director then told him immediately, “OK, I’m kicking you out!!” And that as the end of the convo ! (Background story: My partner is a BIG introvert so unless he’s spoken to, he really won’t say much. & even when disrespected verbally, he really won’t get crazy so I just KNOW my partner didn’t speak or bother anyone from the time he got out of that Uber up until that very moment). 🫠 Mind you again, NO problems until this happened. The staff pretty much knew us and we knew them. We’d see them every day before and after work so they know our faces, and we knew theres . I come out and walk towards the scene and the front desk person was there as well and I asked him what’s going on only for him to reply with, “There’s a homeless man outside.” So I walk outside towards the door and it’s my MAN ! But you’ve seen him plenty of times so why is he homeless today? Right! Same man we’ve continued to see during the am shift but NOW my partner is some “homeless man” lol. So.. I approach the Director with the same, “Is there something wrong? This is my partner and we do stay here. Can I help you?” And I was asked, “Ok, well what room # are you in?”. Again I said in a calm demeanor, “Yes, as soon as you tell me what’s the issue?” Because I really had no idea what his problem was it happened so fast. This Director turned around and decided to yell in my face, “Ok, well you guys are being removed! I’m kicking you out!” Yelled, in my FACE lol Like a FEMALE ! 🙄 So I decided to match his energy and crashed out. I know I was wrong for this but I am NOT my man and when it comes to him I WILL make a scene because out of anyone and everyone I know, the man wouldn’t bother a fly. So from that end of the hallway to the front of the lobby I decided to make a scene, very un-adultish of me but I had had it at that point. I felt like to ME he was profiling at that point. They had security trying to remove me and shush me to not make a scene in the middle of the lobby but I couldn’t be told what the actual problem was so??? Heck, the security who had pulled up didn’t even understand why he was there or what the reasoning for the Director kicking us out was. No one did ! But what PMO even more was that not one of those front desk people who we continued to see on a daily basis said a THING about us being there for WEEKS !! It was a damn shame that he couldn’t be professional about things and tell us what the issue or problem was before deciding to kick us out. My partners mother came over to get our refund back and the same Director still couldn’t find or figure out a legit reason as to why he was actually kicking us out.||||So between all the REAL homeless breaking in and out of the rooms next to us (a particular front desk worker would tell us all the messy crap going on). The druggies that would be up ALL hours of the night going in and out of their rooms banging on the walls and playing their TVs 10xs louder than normal. Or girls being pimped out out of those same rooms, it STILL PMO that we, out of all the real chronics were kicked out of our room we paid for.. in advanced as well. Another thing that really irks me is we had family come and go at the same hotel as well. We had a couple concerts we went to during our stay & I suggested some family and friends to stay there since we were there. Just made sense. So not only did we pay to stay and support this hotel but, I had my family and friends up in there as well just wasting money. This post has been posted before but was deleted and I will gladly repost again and again and again. The stay there SUCKED and the Director was honestly giving prejudice vibes. Because at that point it makes we you wonder, especially when we literally...

Horrible Customer Service by Jessica! by no means she should be a supervisor! Where do I begin! The way she talks to long term guest and guest just staying a few days! This happened during this past weekend! I was visiting for my birthday celebration, and this past Saturday May 3rd I invited my friend over for us to head to Eagle! She yelled at my guest asking who he was, he gave Jessica my name and room number and told him no guest allowed after 10pm, the time was only 9:30 pm! He calls me upset that front desk yelled at him in front of other guest and won’t let him up! ! I came down to get him, as he’s waiting outside! We walk back in, I’m on the other side of the chairs and support beam, and she literally screams (TORRES, I NEED TO SPEAK WITH YOU) it’s startled me and she yelled in front of another male guest she was checking in! I said mam you do not need to yell my last name you’re unprofessional and rude! She literally told me the place had a 10 pm curfew and she states she told me during check-in I said mam, we are not staying long! I said further more, if there was a guest curfew where is it posted! I told her you didn’t tell me no gusts after 10pm ! Where does it state that? Why are your front doors not locked with a key card after 10pm. She’s all well if he’s not gone by 10pm I’m coming to to get him! Very very unprofessional! I’ve come back to this hotel after 11 pm on other night, and not once was stoped by security or front desk asking for ID! DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOUR VISITING FROM OUT OF TOWN I was so humiliated and embarrassed as she was yelling my last name in front of other Guest! Next day I witness her Yell at another guest staying ( NO, I TOLD YOU TO BRING ME YOUR DIRTY TOWEL AND THEN ILL GIVE YOU REPLACEMENT) super not professional! Then again at 11:15 PM Sunday as she was switching shits again! Talking to her male coworker about a guest also had a friend over and she also was demanding their IDs and to hold an extra accidental money! Like girl, take your conversation to the back office! No one needs to hear other Guest issues. It’s states in their contract we are responsible for guest damage!! Jessica stop being a Front Desk Karen! That is why this hotel has 24\7 security. This is definitely not an Extended Stay Premier experience Your attitude belongs at Motel 6! Horrible experience with Jessica! I hope more guests complain about her attitude!! As I was waiting for Ruby on Monday, a really nice housemaid over heard my complaint to front desk clerical before Ruby came out, and she said the same-thing, Jessica is rude and talks down to guests! Rudy GM was super nice and was able to comp me a night! ( not the point) the main point is do not yell and belittle guest! I will never ever stay at this hotel again! I was so humiliated and embarrassed the way Jessica yelled at me! When she could of just picked up the phone and call my room! Super -Unprofessional. Upline management needs to re-evaluate her position as supervisor or take her to management training classes how to...
