Horrible Customer Service!! I stopped here, hoping to just get something to go from the drive-thru and it was absolutely ridiculous! First of all, I sat third in line for the drive-thru for about 10 minutes and decided to go inside real quick because the line wasn't moving. I was hoping it would be quicker so I could get on the freeway before rush hour traffic got so bad. Once I got inside, I could see there was a small line forming at the front counter. Roughly 4 people in front of me hadn't even ordered yet. I noticed there were only 4 employees visible inside the restaurant; the woman working at the drive-thru window was complaining to the manager that she needed to go because it was her scheduled time to be off, and she headed out. The manager was taking orders at the front counter, bagging food and handling the drive-thru all by herself. There was only one other employee and she was making the food. They were obviously very short handed and understaffed. The two guy's in front of me both ordered milkshakes and a hamburger each, and when they finally got their food 10 minutes later, the manager told them the milkshake machine was broken, which was obviously not the truth. She was just too busy to make them. Horrible customer service. Finally, almost 10 minutes after waiting for the 3 customers in front of me to order and pick up their food, the manager took my order. She wasn't nice, no salutations, no please or thank you, and absolutely no apology or explanation for the long wait. I waited another 7 minutes for my food, which was a small hamburger and small fries. At this point I just wanted to get my food and go, and noticed other people walking in and getting in line and the manager rudely told all the people waiting in line that the Front counter was closed due to short staff. Meaning: she was not helping any customers that came inside the restaurant to eat!!! Absolutely ridiculous. I understand being short-staffed. It's a hard situation, but in any business, you never turn your customers away like that!! You politely let them know that you are short staffed and the wait might be longer than normal, and you help them anyway! The staffing issue should not be put on your customers, ever! You do your job and treat customers with respect. After all, there would be no job without your customers.
I don't know what is happening to Burger King in general because this seemed to be the norm now. I've witnessed the manager at the Jantzen Beach location close the drive-thru on multiple occasions and even close the doors 2 hours early due to understaffing. They're going to end up bankrupt before you know it. Hire some employees burger king. McDonalds is getting all your turned away...
Read moreI went through the drive-thru on my lunch today I sat beside this car for like 5 mins while that person gave the lady her order dont know what the hold up was but after the 5 mins it was my turn to place my order 3 mins later she asked me what I would like gave my order I move up to the window behide the same car it took just as long for the lady to come to the window dont know what happen but that car end up just driving off I got to the window there was nobody at the counter or ever in the restaurant I sat there for 5 mins and end up honking my horn and she just looked at me did not even come to the window to take my money so after sitting there for 5 more minutes I had to drive off to get back to work on time.I dont know what was going on but I went without lunch today because of you poor customer service and rude person that was working for you.. I went back to my job not having lunch and told my coworkers what poor customer service I just received at Burger King and will never go back. I told them to never go to that Burger King for lunch because you will not get one they all agreed about the poor customer service.. I WILL NEVER BE BACK. YOU NEED TO GIVE A LITTLE COACHING TO YOUR DRIVE-THRU person you had working for you today. Read moreIf I had a wish? I wish they never remodeled burgerkings 20 years ago. The inside use to have carpet and a Northwest theme and wallpaper. It was a great place to be inside. But one thing they kept doing right is making the burgers great! I don't know how they do it. But they taste different then McDonald's or jack in the box or Carl's junior. I think it's how they hand prep all the ingredients instead of get them out of a bag.
Also, you don't get that feeling that you are being pushed to buy whatever is the special. It's refreshing.
If you want it made a special way, they do😊! No weird pauses or complaints.
And they know what you mean if you say "make it look like it does on tv! No problem!
The best part is you can tell they care in how they wrap the sandwiches. They are rap like Christmas presents very nice and tightly done and when you open them they're not messy on the inside either so they really know how to make a perfect burger if you ask me.
I am hope that with Amazon now there, they pump funds into making it look as good as it did in it's hayday. I miss the great landscaping...
