I normally don’t write reviews but I’m super frustrated with our stay so far.
When first looking for a hotel to stay in for our Sons baseball showcase - I wanted a hotel with an outdoor pool for our kids to use since it’s summer. This was the only hotel in Pullman with an outdoor pool. (Or so I thought) after reading reviews I realized it was an outdoor hot tub. But since it was already booked I decided we would just make it work. Once arriving we saw signs and realized that the outdoor hot tub /pool was out of order. You can’t even use any of the outdoor furniture around it either. Whole section is closed. When asking the front desk (who seemed put out that I even asked him) how long they thought it would be out of order. He said I’m not sure. I was like well do you think like a day , or like a month? Some idea? He said would you like me to ask? I said that would be great. He came back and said well the part is here for the hot tub but it has to sit for a day ? So maybe Saturday. We leave Sunday so I thought ok wow we might get a day to use it!
Then when booking I read that they don’t provide daily housekeeping. I was ok with that. On our second day we called the front desk and asked if we could request our room to be serviced the next day. 3rd day into our stay. She said she would put us on the list. So we left today and came back about 3 to a unserviced dirty room. I called Down to the front desk and asked if we were Going to get our room cleaned today. She said let me look at the list. She confirmed we were on the list and said they should be getting to our room soon. So we left and found something to do -so they would be able to clean our room without interruption. Once getting back to the room after a long day- at 9:30pm we were very disappointed to see it was never cleaned. Dirty towels and bedding - Super frustrating!
The hotel is super nice aesthetically- great location- but super disappointed in our stay. Also the front desk was not friendly - they seemed annoyed when I ever asked any questions. Unfortunate we wont be...
Read moreRESERVATION & CHECK-IN -- We travel often and are choosy about where we stay. We found the Pullman (WA) Marriott Courtyard as a possible when we searched for reservations. We spoke with Cheyenne to make the reservation and she found us a perfect room with a rate that was well suited for our budget (they DO have a slate of considerable discounts here!), and she made our reservation in a matter of a minute or so! She was also on hand when we checked in and was as friendly and helpful in person as on the phone.
THE ROOM -- We opened the door and found an impressive king room that was immaculate and well-arranged. Everything was in its place and properly situated. (Cheyenne had even made sure we got a room with a scenic view, too!) We never had to go to the front desk for anything because everything was already properly attended.
CHECKOUT -- It couldn't have been simpler or swifter.
CONCLUSION -- Next time we plan to stay in the Pullman area, we won't be shopping around. We'll call directly to this Courtyard by Marriott. (We hope Cheyenne answers the phone.)
Ask for Cheyenne to help you. She rocks!
AFTERTHOUGHT -- There was a mini-fridge in the room. Next time, we'll ask for a microwave, if they have one for the room. The hotel did have one for public use down...
Read moreThe new Courtyard Pullman exceeded our expectations. The facility is conveniently located near campus and Beasley performing arts center (.5 mile straight walk). We were there for a basketball game and to visit our Coug, of course. We enjoyed some of the amenities such as the fitness center, cafe (dinner and breakfast options), and business computers. The employees were all exceptionally professional and enjoyable. We were granted early arrival and late departure despite the hotel being relatively busy with a swim meet and basketball game in town. Our room faced the rolling hills covered with snow, which was beautiful. I loved the small couch and ottoman in our room; not only comfortable and practical but very stylish. My husband enjoyed the large flat screen tv of which could be adjusted easily depending on where we sat in the room.
Only slight issues encountered: Business computers had very limited options for browsing. Fitness center: I found the media built into the treadmill, a little confusing to maneuver.
Other than that, the rooms, lobby, gift shop, fitness center, cafe and even pool/patio area, of which we only walked thru as it was snowy, were all first rate. This was our third stay this year and we’ve never been...
