I’m writing to express a deeply upsetting experience we had while trying to use the food voucher provided during the tournament.
While attempting to place a to-go order at the participating restaurant, the female server asked if the order was for dine-in or to-go. As soon as I said “to-go,” her attitude drastically changed. It felt as though, because I wasn’t dining in (and perhaps because tipping is less likely), she no longer cared to serve me.
She then ignored me for more than 20 minutes, making me stand aside while continuing to take orders from other customers who arrived much later. Her demeanor was cold and unwelcoming—as if I didn’t deserve to be there. I genuinely didn’t want to place the order anymore due to how I was treated, but my child was waiting, so I had no choice but to stay.
In fact, I started waiting at 6:10 PM, and didn’t receive the food until around 7:00 PM. That’s nearly an hour of waiting after a five-hour tournament. My son kept calling, asking where I was. He had just finished a long, exhausting day of golf, only to wait another hour for dinner.
I don’t know if the rude treatment was because I was using the AJGA voucher, or for some other reason—but it was completely unacceptable. If AJGA is going to offer vouchers to specific restaurants, there should be clear expectations that junior golfers and their families will be treated with basic respect and decency.
We would never have gone to that restaurant if not for the tournament. And sadly, this was a very negative, even humiliating experience—on a day that should have been all about supporting young athletes.
I regret not asking for the server’s name, but her behavior left a lasting impression. This kind of treatment should never happen to any player or parent. Golfers support these courses and restaurants by attending tournaments, and we deserve to be treated accordingly.

Read moreThis restaurant is a joke, the food is good but the service my friends and family receive is horrible. The good reviews you are are for a specific bartender (sal), and the cart girl. Most of them seem to be from friends and family as if there was a challenge to see who could get the most reviews. Nothing really to be proud about...
Our food took an hour an a half to come out. The manger had a stink face the whole time, as if it was inconvenient to be open. A server that's name stared with an M was rude, complaining and cussing to other staff. This is not our first time here either, this is the same each time we go and for this reason our friends and family will not be going back. Hearing such potting mouth through out our meal was upsetting for wanting to enjoy a nice meal with our friends.
when you return your cart you see that all the staff including the chef smoking out back. Such a bad look for the course and them, during this time you hear them complaining about customers and golfers. Shocker you work at a golf course... and have to cater to golfers. The land and building are owned by the university ( a non smoking community) to see this was disappointing for a destination course.
The food is good but to get this level of service was disappoint, if you can go elsewhere I would. So sad to see how they treat the community that pays...
Read moreWow—what an incredible dining experience! From the moment we walked in, everything about The Table was top-notch. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was attentive without being intrusive, and the food… absolutely amazing!
The portions were extremely generous, which is such a rare treat these days. Every bite was packed with flavor, and it was clear that everything was made with care and quality ingredients. You truly get great value for your money here.
This is the kind of place you want to keep coming back to—and I definitely will! I’ve already been recommending The Table to friends and family, and I can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for a memorable meal and exceptional service, this is it!
The icing on the cake to my first time visit was the Amazing view, just Beautiful! Also the day I went on a Wednesday, there was live music which was also an added treat to my experience!
Chef Michael and staff were great, it’s rare to see the owner come out and greet his customers, that was very cool. Thank you for the...
