Great staff, low key, super close to Knoebel's, ample parking, good breakfast, well maintained.
We arrived on a Friday night. It appeared the most the other guys came in after seven or 8:00 too. Our room was clean and we had towels sheets everything we needed. The next morning I golfed nine at Three Ponds Golf course that you can see from the porch of The Latorre. I returned just in time for breakfast. Eggs, meats and pancakes were made to order. They also had toast, cereal, muffins and coffee laid out. I enjoyed eating on the back patio. Because they have the patio and the dining room it's never too crowded. I noticed as we left to go to Knoebels the ladies who are working the bed and breakfast were taking care of the grounds and watering the flowers. We had a fun day at the park and return and settled in for the night. The next morning we had breakfast again. I had no complaints. We were out by 10:00 a.m. but check out was 11 am. This is the second bed and breakfast that I've stayed in. If you never stayed at a bed and breakfast I recommend it. I personally felt much more at home than staying in a hotel. Definitely better than a motel and not to mention it was more or less...
Read moreYes I would stay here again, but only because of the proximity to Knobels and lack of other options. When you arrive there is a note on the door saying our room was open and ready for us. No one around and could not find the password to the WiFi. Yes I could have called the Knobels number listed but wasn’t worth it. Room was fine but struggled with the water. When my kids used the water they kept remarking how it smells kid blood, and from the one who gets lost of bloody noses I knew something way up. Yes she was very right and we could smell it in the room when someone showered. I guess there is a LOT of iron in the water but not pleasant to say brush teeth with. Water pressure in shower was also horrible taking me a long time just to get out the shampoo. Breakfast was very nice. Also if you want the passes to get into Knobels pool you need to ask as thankfully I had seen it listed on their website. When I asked it seemed like a burden to get and validate them while in the middle...
Read moreThey were kind enough to squeeze us in at the end of their season. We were the only people their at the time of our stay. We missed the Knoebles season by one day so we went to a local-ish pub for a few and bought some pumpkins and spent the night in the large, clean, beautiful house, carving pumpkins. There were TV's- in the rooms and in the common area. The water pressure was great and the water stayed hot during the shower. The bathrooms for most of the rooms are attached directly onto the rooms themselves. They have outdoor patios you can hang out on. We got a visit from a deer which was also a treat. Breakfast was made to order, and was delicious. The woman who prepared our breakfast hummed cheerily to herselve while cooking, which I don't think she knew we could hear. But we could. And it was nice imagining she was that happy doing her work, even if the humming wasn't actually for that reason. I would absolutely...
